I was disgusted by that as well & angry with them. The producers seem to have gone more in the direction of them threatening to disown their own family in recent times. In the past (when all the sister's were alive) they seemed on the whole a lot more supportive of each other from outsiders. Not threatening to disown all the time whatever the family member did & If an outsider crossed one McQueen, you'd cross them all. They were also protective of JP as the only boy.

So long as Mercedes McQueen is in the show then the McQueen name is very tolerable.

I think Reenie McQueen will want to kill Pete and then when things get tough it'll be " it's all your fault, I need my Pete."

John Paul McQueen has always been selfish. Remember when he got the vicar (what was his name again?) to reveal he was gay and then decided he was boring once he had wrecked his life and career.
Not to mention him forcing Craig Dean to come out of the closet by setting him up so Sarah Barnes would catch them in bed together.
