Would Any Channel 4 Winner Be Able To Win In The Channel 5 Era?

What makes a great housemate in the Channel 5 era seems to differ from what made a great housemate in Channel 4 era.

In Channel 5 era conflict, controversy, arguments and being a wind up merchant for whatever reason now seems to be the key to be a HM "Who saves the series". In the Channel 4 days these "qualities" would lead to constant chants of "Get ***** Out" every eviction until they were evicted which tended to be quite early on. These days those "qualities" tend to see a HM survive as long as possible tending to make the series finale half the time (Though granted producer manipulation also plays a part in that).

In the Channel 4 days the HM's who did well in series and more than half the time won their series would be the people who didn't seek out arguments or conflicts or brag about "Telling it like it is". They tended to want to have fun without the arguments and stay away from it...These days all that leads to is being branded "boring" or "sitting on the fence" and there would be complaints of why they were there to begin with.

With that being said Luke A and Sam the winners of BB13 and BB14 on paper to me do seem like Channel 4 style HM's.

So the question is would any of the Channel 4 Winners have been able to win a Channel 5 era BB?

Its impossible to say, you cannot say what would have happened if any winner had appeared in any other year. Each winner won there own year against there own hms and facing there own challeges. Just because they won there year does not automatically mean they would win any other year - if you took the 16 winners and shuffled them up and dealt them out randomly into the 16 years theres no guarantee the same 16 would all win.

I meant the characteristics...not saying a specific year against specific people. Just in theory of what it takes for a Ch5 HM to win...could any of it be done by any of the Ch4 bunch

The same principle applies imo, though if you take the likes of Cameron or Rachel you could compare them to Luke or Sam or even Chloe if your talking chracteristics
