iOS 8.4 on iPad 2?
Robbo-92

Hello everyone, thought I'd take the opportunity before iOS 9 is rolled out (presumably September time?) to ask if it's worth upgrading my 2nd gen iPad upto iOS 8.4 (maybe the last iOS 8 update pre 9?), currently I'm still using iOS 7.1.2 and not having any major issues, still seems pretty quick and still getting roughly about 10 hours battery life from the device.

Basically the reason I'm yet to update my iPad is because I don't know how it performs on the 2nd gen iPads, I know it's supported but no idea how it runs and I normally leave it a while before updating to the new version of iOS anyway to make sure all the bigger bugs are ironed out so would be waiting even longer once iOS 9 is released.

To cut it short, does the iPad 2 benefit from iOS 8 or does it create more problems such as less battery life, running slower etc.

Thanks in advance

8.4 has a bug which screws up auto rotate (which is very annoying), hopefully we will see an iOS 8.4.1 to rectify it soon.
