Whenever I hear 'I Kissed A Girl', 'Hot 'N Cold', 'The Winner Takes It All' and 'Drop It Like It's Hot' from now on, I will automatically think of Joel. Awww, legend.

Pah, even though they were pioneers of rap, NWA's nothing compared to BB's very own MC Cornflake.

'Straight outta Boreham.. a crazy mother-snogger named Cristian'.

I've always been a fan of Snoop from the first time I heard him on some movie soundtrack 'Above the rim'. Joel's seems to have eclectic taste though, which I appreciate and I always have a genuine admiration for anyone who can remember song lyrics. That's one of my real grey areas and I only know about 4 or 5 songs by heart. I end up putting my own words to songs and it drives my family nuts.

I did and I don't even like Snoop. I wanted to see if the actions he did were true to the video performance and, of course, they were.

Jesting aside I've always loved a bit of Snoop, Dr Dre etc. I was at school when the seminal Doggystyle came out and I love it still to this day.

Why does Snoop Dogg always carry an umbrella?

Fo' drizzle.

I was a bit bemused that a man being able to bend his knees and stick his arms out could cause such excitement.

Always felt like old skool rap had a meaning and energy that's kinda missing in rap these days.

Quite liked NWA but preferred the older school raps my bothers used to rock, KRS1, BDK, Bizmarkie, Eric B/Rakeem, Slick Rick/Dougie Fresh etc. They were playful and had a message too.

In fact La Di Da Di is one of the handful of songs I know by heart, as well as the National Anthem and a couple of Beatles tracks, Simon and Garfunkle, Baccharach and David and old show tunes from musicals.

I feel I'd relate to Joel, musically

Eclectic tastes are good. I've never seen the point in musical elitism.

Show tunes? Lol, Panda Eyes and jazz hands... reminds me of a Japanese noodle commercial that used to freak me out.
