I am just wondering if any soap has ever had a regular character called Jonathan in it? I can't think of any but there must be at least 1 character called Jonathan from a soap?
Has there been any soaps with a character in it called Jonathan?
In EE Roya's foster dad is called Jonathan, though he's not a regular.
Were Johnny Allen and Johnny Carter meant to be Jonathans but just use their names day to day?

Jonathan (Jonny) Maconie in Holby City 2012-15.
I'm sure there have been others but those 2 come straight to mind.

Well., depends whether it was short for Jonathan or just a variation on John. John Palmer in Sons and Daughters had Johnny as a pet name but John was his full name, not Jonathan.
It takes all sorts to make a thread eh! All I can come up with from Corrie was that Jon Lindsay didn't have the H so perhaps that was short for Jonathan?? ;
There was Jonathan Stape who appeared in one episode as John Stapes brother but the John Stape killed him as he was going to take over his identity
