Have I missed something? Is baby Rose still "missing" or have they completely forgotten about that storyline?

Both. Apparently a missing child isn't dramatic enough to focus on for any length of time.

The story re-emerges soon, but yes its totally stupid that its just been temporarily forgotten just to feed other stories.

They don't need to devote every episode to it, but have an odd mention in every other episode or something, someone could easily say to someone else "Has baby Rose been found yet?" And the other character says "Don't think so, Tegan must be terrified" and leave it at that, not hard, would take all of 10 seconds up from an episode!

Oh, and don't show Tegan working in the hospital... especially involving her in the latest baby drama!!

Just one of the many reasons Hollyoaks is so unbelievably crap these days.

It's the block storylining. It doesn't work.

Yeah and it turned out Tegan was involved in her abduction...but then was never mentioned again. It's just ridiculous, as previous posters have said it just needs the odd comment of "Still no sign of Rose?" to keep the storyline going.

They did this a few months back as well when it turned out Cindy was still married and her ex knocked on the door, then it was never mentioned again as far as I know. Hollyoaks really is horrendous this last few years.

I thought Tegan was working with Scott to hide her away to prevent Diane getting her grubby mitts on her?

I haven't seen HO in weeks, but if Tegan is back at work, I am astounded that the writers treat the viewers as such idiots that we are expected to think that this is acceptable!!!!!!!

I'm happy for the storyline to continue, if it means we don't have to see Scott.

I'm not 100% sure, but the last I saw was after the TV appeal with Tony, Diane and Tegan.

Tegan left the incident room and went back to some flat, burst through the door and shouted 'I think we've taken this too far now' (or something along those lines) and I'm nearly sure Scott was sitting there with Rose???

They used to be a lot better at covering up block storytelling, when Tom was missing they at least had posters everywhere so we knew he was still missing. It's like everyone forgot Rose already?

Wasn't there an article recently that mentioned changes at HO, and i'm sure along with everything else, it mentioned changes to filming techniques which will help avoid situations like this. Can't remember where I read it, or if i'm even telling the truth now

Yeah there was, lets hope it happens as the block storytelling does not work in a continuing soap like Hollyoaks.

Am determined to find the article now, but having no luck. Looking for stories on DS (which is where i'm sure I read it) isn't much good as they don't seem to go far back any more! And no luck with google either.

It's ridiculous.

Leyla, Tegan's sister and Rose's auntie, has been seen in episodes too without a mention of it.

Makes me laugh that people complain about the block story lining in EE when it is not in the same league as this.

The block storytelling is awful. We've had four suspicious deaths plus attempted murder and nobody is at all surprised. Rose is missing but no one cares. Porsche's been told that she's lying about the rape and yet still lives with these people. Her husband said he didn't believe her but she's still jokily screeching away at him. I find it hard to believe that JP and Lockie are carrying on together but nobody in the house has realised.

Perri is acting normally too, does she not care about her niece? Poor Rose.

I think the way they have handled sensitive issues over the last couple of years proves they are not up to portraying serious storylines.

Because Peri has never exhibited behavior like this before. She didn't forget the parents that raised her after a week and forget that Cameron robbed the pub and that Sienna kidnapped several children and tried to kill them...
