It's bad enough that she acts like a bunny boiler around Ben. In the last couple of episodes I hated how rudely she spoke to Max and Carol. Where do her loyalties lie?

Carol almost got knocked down by Ben and she wasn't the least bit concerned about her aunt. I really won't feel bad for her when Ben's affair with Paul comes out. She's turning into such a nasty character.

Blame DTC - changes characters on a whim, and he changed her over night "things die" or whatever it was she said when she killed her dog.

Ever since, people have lapped the character up and love her 'dark side', thus justifying the change because God forbid anyone be 'nice' on EastEnders; all must be bitter, twisted and depressed otherwise they're "boring".

I don't see it as completely a character change. Abi was always taken advantage of and bore the brunt of her parents melodramas. As she grew up she realised it and became resentful.

I like the direction she's gone in.. yes nice people can exist but people can be inherently decent but can do nasty things and be horrible at times. This is what I see as happening to Abi.

I find it to be a lazy decision to go "oh, she's had a relatively tough childhood so now that we've exhausted her studying for exams, we'll just make her a bitch."

They could have kept her nice and given her Carol's cancer storyline.

She's very unnecessarily rude to Max. I can't believe the way some children talk to their parents in EE, for example Abi and even Shabnam that time she wanted Masood to leave his own house that he pays the mortgage on! (I agree Masood had been out of order but still it's silly)

I can't understand why Max let's her get away with it. My dad would never have put up with that sort of behaviour from us. Max needs to put her straight about a few things.

What do you expect when she has a lying, cheating, immoral scumbag for a father, and a shallow, judgmental, hypocritical bitch for a mother?

I like this Attitude Abi! She gets them told, even slapping them when required. She's all the makings of a soap bitch should they need one, and who could blame her? 'Me me me me me!' is her DNA on both sides!

She's always been like this, DTC has just made that much more extreme. When Max was in the doghouse for perfectly good reasons that anyone would treat him like dirt for, she would fight for him because she was really attached to him and afraid to lose him. She was overly attached to Jay. Now, with Ben, she's also overly attached, but she's going to great lengths to keep hold of him, like that cringe of death scene where she tried to play sexy. She's afraid of being alone, she clings on to anyone who threatens to leave, she'd be perfect for a borderline personality disorder storyline.

Getting annoying, she has always been annoying,even more so now Lauren has gone.

She wasn't annoying to begin with. The girl who hung around nerdy Ben in 2006/07, had Marge/Marge II as pets and was generally on the straight and narrow compared to Lauren (even before she took up drinking she ran Max over). Abi was harmless back then.

Getting annoying? Since she's been with Ben, I've been envisioning her as the next candidate for a murder victim storyline every time she appears on screen. Every time she opens her mouth it's either "oh Ben! tehehehehe!" or whinge whinge whinge! And she dares to take the moral high ground over Max about him having motive to kill Lucy, when she's the only who actually assaulted her on the night she died and probably (along with Denise and Jake) added to the injuries resulting in her death.

Abi has always been annoying. I'd love the police to find out she attacked Lucy on the night she died. The smug little bitch would shit herself.
