Glyn Wise who I think was in BB7 is going to be a candidate in the Welsh Assembly Elections in 2016.He will be standing for PLAID CYMRU. He has trained to be a teacher since leaving BB. Glyn is Welsh and Proud and will be a wonderful AM if he is successful.

If Plaid have given him Cardiff to contest then he's fodder

The irony is that there have been two 'political' welsh housemates ... neither of whom represent the overwhelming majority of voters in Wales, which has always been, and remains, a Labour stronghold

I know DS:BB members refer to Glyn's being gay all the time. But I've still never seen anything official on that. Did I miss it, or is it all conjecture?

That explains to me why he was asking Joel to ditch the Tories and vote Plaid Cymru.......I haven't a clue about Welsh politics, but hope both of them do well in life itself.

Glyn was my favourite HM in BB7 and probably my second favourite HM of all time. Good luck to him.

I was about to say yeah of course just look at his Twitter until I realised he's had to go through and delete all his Tweets, a couple from 2014 seemed to have stayed under "Tweets & replies" and his 2013 and older "Photos & videos" seemed to be stuck there.

I'm not sure how I feel about having to delete who you are to represent Plaid Cymru. There can't be anything bad because he's a former school teacher, more recently on the staff at Cardiff University teaching Welsh for Adults, semi known in public and certainly to Big Brother watchers. What is the worst he had on his Twitter, that he was gay? Does it mean you can't be openly gay in Plaid Cymru. I'm unsure.

That's really odd he has deleted tweets about being gay. Hardly a great role model for future welsh gay poiticians for the future. Well he might be an ideal role model for Joel if it means remaining in the closet.
