No. She'll have her own storyline. Kathy isn't a supporting player!

Seriously, to turn up now when Ben is on a murder charge is just stupid, when she could have come back for his first, or when Lucy died. To have stayed away for those events needs a BIG reason, and that's what I think we'll see first.

It sounds like she's in a bad situation, so I suspect it'll be trying to get rid of that first.

I also thought that Ben's arrest might be the catalyst for Kathy's return, but then logically she would have come back the last two times he was sent down. I do wonder how much Kathy knows about the kind of person Ben has become since her 'death'.

Ben was guilty on the previous two occassions, and presumably Phil had no contact with Kathy. If Phil suspects some foulplay from the Beales (especially given Bobby's behaviour), then he may play the trump card of Kathy, as if anyone can convince Ian not to sacrifice Ben, she can

I still think Max is going to go down for Lucy's Murder not Ben.

I think Max is too obvious. Most expected him to be the arrest on Friday, and with Abi and Bryant both against him, he seems likely to go down, but DTC likes his twists and maybe Max will leave in a completely unrelated way.

It looking more likely that Max is gonna get framed, Kathy's return is in a couple of weeks if the filming schedule is to go by one episode will be the 21 august we know of.

I just hope the key characters give it more justice than Sharon reacting to the return of Den Watts............ The way she ran off to be sick in the toilet was quite possibly a natural reaction but the acting was appalling...especially when she emerged still wiping her mouth and the shock was over almost instantly.

Just can't explain how Phil knows she's (Kathy) alive or what impact him having this info will do to his relationships with Ben, Ian, Sharon etc.

Unfortunately after the massive stupid build up to Bobby bloody Beale being Lucy's killer, I'm not holding out much hope for this storyline which could be so good but will probably end up being another massive disappointment. We shall see

No Kathy is coming back in with her own big story, nothing to do with the Lucy plot.
