I love Todd, one of my fave on the soap. I also don't mind Jason and Eileen is ok, especially when sparring with Gail. Overall they are a good enough group, better than some.

I suppose Elsie and Dennis Tanner are there because they lived in the house previously. I wouldn't mind Eileen as a neighbour, she seems very friendly and good-hearted. Jason is not a bad lad. Todd: I would cross the street, not to have to talk to him. I don't like the lodger, Sean. Sarah and Bethany are the worst returnees in the history of Coronation Street and need to be written out as soon as possible. I liked Julie, Eileen's half-sister, and I was sorry to see her and Brian leave. The rest are all watchable.

Jason and Eileen have become pointless (maybe this new stupid storyline will at least help their characters out if nothing else) and I'm still waiting for the explanation of why Todd is the way he is now. Tony could be great if utilized correctly.

So have I. In his first stint too. They should have left him to fester in London. He hasn't changed, just got worse.
I like Eileen, Jason is OK but a bit meh.

'Eileen' is so limited in the emotions she can portray convincingly - with 'sarcasm' being her only strong option . She is an irrelevant character.

'Todd' plays a despicable character but has potential.
'Jason' could develop further through his role as a builder.

'Sean' the lodger - words fail me - get him off our screens please.

'Tony' seems close to becoming 'uncovered' as a criminal and about to leave the series anyhow. the rest are either not 'Grimshaws' at all , or have left the series for a variety of reasons.

The Tanners and Grimshaws are distantly related Janet Plank.

The core group of Eileen, Jason and Todd are a great soap unit. Shame they've been bogged down by so much sensationalism - as they've always had so much potential as a real kitchen-sink Corrie family. A struggling single mum looking after her warring two boys. Todd battling his hidden demons and Jason... well, being Jason. Sean is an unnecessary cling on.

I didn't add Sean Tully, I wasn't sure?

My favourite family in the street - the only one who could match them are the Barlows.

Shame about Sean clogging the place up. It made me laugh that HE is considered one of the family. i am waiting for him to annoy Todd and gets sent packing...

Yes. Singleton Eileen is getting a bit boring for me though, whereas Jason is becoming slightly more interesting. I don't care about Todd either way.

Got to agree. Although I have no problem with Eileen when she has a go at Gail!

And I certainly like Jason.

Agreed! Jason is lovely to look at. Luckily it's beauty over brains here as he's about 200 sandwiches short of a picnic at Buckingham palace

BIBs are the only ones that count for me. Going back to the past though Elsie was excellent. Eileen isn't a patch on her what with all that wrestling in the street with Gail v Elsie and Ena having an argument . Pfft. Doesn't compare really does it?

This. ^^^ Jason is on pause at the mo as he's waiting for Eva to return. Either way Corrie need to stop with the revolving doors policy for Jason and Todd at Eileen's and get the settled somewhere else. As for that Sean Tully ....

Tony is a a good character but no doubt they'll ruin him when Liz McDonald gets his balls on a plate!

Thankyou, Mr Men, I didn't know that. Elsie was a legend, and I like Dennis as a boy. But the writing for him when he came back recently was very poor.

I was wondering that too!! I would certainly class Sean more 'one of the family' than the Tanners, even though I don't have a lot of time for him!!

Colin I was never keen on, Tony, couldn't care less either way, Julie annoyed the crap out of me 95% of the time!! Todd has been ruined to the point I no longer care what happened to him in London to make him like he is!!

Eileen & Jason are two of my favourite characters on the show!!

Sarah is a complete & utter waste of space since her return, Bethany desperately needs her character developing, she is so one dimensional so far!! She does at least have potential!!

Elsie and Eileen are first cousins twice removed, which makes Eileen/Julie and Dennis second cousins once removed. Jason/Todd and Dennis are second cousins twice removed.
