A tv critic from The Sun called Ally Ross said Civilian BB is so bad that even Love Island beat it. Thats pretty embarrassing.. I always thought Civilian BB as somethin more than trash like that.

IMAC, Celeb BB & The Apprentice are the big 3 in terms of media attention. Its a shame civilian bb is now considered in the towie/geordie shore/love island bracket ..

Might be an unpopular opinion but I can honestly say I much preferred Love Island to this years BB.

I stopped watching BB and was engrossed in Love Island, which crapped all over BB for quality and entertainment.

BB being so godawful made my evenings far less busy telly wise.

No BB is not yet quite as bad as Love Island... but the BB show directors are doing their best to make it that way.

Love island is awful. And the critic in the sun actually said that love island is the only thing that beats BB in awfulness
though to be fair he is always very complimentary of celeb bb and has even mentioned in the past that he thinks its better than I'm a celeb

I can't watch a show thats sole purpose is to have sex on an island, so tacky.. BB still has more about it than that, it reflects social divides etc. And Marc gave us plenty of entertainment?

And I couldn't watch BB this year because it's sole purpose was to force the HMs to tear each other to bits at every given opportunity.

The content of love island is rubbish but the staging and production is far superior to BB its clear that the producers of love island believe in the show and you can see it. Makes BB seem like an amateur production barely fit for YouTube.

Conflict drives the show, would u prefer a series of ass kissers like we had in the final?. Marc & Helen were the highlight of the series by a mile. They didn't give a **** unlike the rest of those pathetic self-conscious beings. Love island is just all about sex nothin more..

I didn't watch crappy Love Island but i seen an ad that showed parts of the series and i am glad i didn't watch it. Look's like a show perfect for TOWIE types.

I couldn't warm to Love Island. Hearing people go on and on whether they like a certain boy or girl is very boring viewing. It's like being back at high school. Then seeing them change their mind every day on who they prefer. Plus shows like Love Island are not what I call real. Everything is instigated through producers on what they say, what they do and who they pair with.

Conflict (if that's your thing) happens naturally and doesn't have to be manufactured rubbish, which imo is what we got. Things were starting to boil very nicely indeed before 4 in 4 out.

I watched both. They both seemed contrived. But I have to say with BB the interesting characters were evicted, and on love island the interesting ones stayed.
Maybe BB needs free voting.

Love Island was horrible. Even at its worst BB is better than it. I also thing I'm A Celeb is over rated rubbish too.

I thought Love Island was shit, but I did see people talking about it on my Facebook feed and I did hear people talking about it in real life, which is far more than can be said for Big Brother these days. Also it had far superior production values, BB looks so cheap these days, I don't think they eve bother anymore.

Love Island is a whole different level in my opinion.
I don't really understand how anyone who complains about the BB we get these days would watch Love Island, it's TOWIE'd up to the absolute max.

Highlight of the series?? They f***ing ruined it. A sour bint, and a clown with ADHD. Not my idea of entertainment.
