Me too. He had a really dry wit and calm way about him that made me really warm to him. He's one of the only bb contestants ever that j could imagine being mates with. He ruled the house but without being bossy of patronising.

Don't indulge my selfishness! I had forgotten about Helen and Paul talking about "stuff". Honestly, the sheer innocence of this whole season is beautiful.

It is so innocent isn't it? With Paul and Helen, it was the first time we've watched two people falling in love on TV in front of our eyes. We saw them evolve from acquaintances to friends to partners and it was all so natural.

It really is. They didn't even kiss properly, just on the cheek, and yet they supported each other, really liked each other's personalities and eventually fell in love. Like I said upthread, I would absolutely watch this series with my Mum. Now? Not so much

Awwwwwww - it used to be so good. I love the psycho analysis - that guy was good. It's quite unbelievable how it's all become so tacky/fake and wannabe - it happened under our very noses and yet - I'd forgotten how 'real' it used to be.
