What irked me about it was afterwards when Sarah told Danny that you shoudnt speak to a woman like that. In these days of sexual equality surely it is equally right or wrong to speak to either sex like that. Sex should have nothing to do with it. With regard to physical altercation then of course the situation is diferent as women and mens capabilities obviously are diferent on a physical basis but for verbals its a level playing field so theres no basis for diferentiation on the grounds on sex. To do so is sexist.
Unless Dannys verbal attack also had a degree of phsical menace and that was what sarah was alluding to - but i dont think that is the case, i think she was just saying you shoudnt tell a woman to shut up in the traditional be polite to women sense - which in terms of sexual equality i find irksome. But then i found Sarah irksome.
