Would hardly call it a gaffe, but Harry Reid is out on a charm offensive and it appears to be working

I really like Harry Reid, seems like a really nice guy. Best Ben we've ever had and nice looking too.

Darling outside of London probably does seem a bit over familiar, its something your dad might call your mum, but in the city, cabbies and market traders refer to their customers as darlin' all the time!!

I actually think Ben is one of the best charactes in the show. Harry is great in the role.

I know he didn't intend it that way but I find stuff like that so patronising and disrespectful, especially when coming from someone much younger.

You can't see why having someone call you "love" or "darlin" is patronising?

I hate it when I'm at the supermarket and the 18 year old on the till calls me "love" and I have like 10 years on them.

This Ben is genius casting, he really is Ben, great character, great actor too, hope to see more storylines that involve him, definitely want him to stick around.

He reminds me a bit of Charlie Wernham who plays Robbie in Hollyoaks
