Kal was the better Nazir and worked well with Leanne, Dev, Gary and I thought killing him would spell disaster for his family but I am not sure it has

does anyone else think the nazirs are actually better without Kal?

Zeedan in particular seems to be maturing and displaying different sides to his character and is coming across like a decent young man afterall

Nope. He was probably one of the dullest characters in Corrie history. The Nazirs are so much better without him. I miss the moobs jokes though.

Love the poll options . Tough call between Dead Kal and Alya . Zeedan has been great since they dropped the sulky teenager routine. Unfortunately Curly Simon has now taken on that role.

Voted for Dead Kal as he seems to have brought the other Nazirs to life.

He was God awful and really dragged Leanne down with him. She was actually better off with Nick...though I see a Peter reunion on the horizon

His exit isn't permanent though...he'll be back soon to rescue Leanne from that messed up brat he palmed off on her.

I just can't really warm to any of the others, though Kal is better dead than he was 'alive'!!

My computer skills haven't advanced as far as doing links yet but, like Carla is now, it was definitely suggested it was a couple of years off to recharge & try other things, then return to Peter, as he has already done several times before!!

yes he did say he would return but no timescale given. I think Leanne needs some alone time before she gives simon another dad figure, he is screwed up enough

Does definitely say that he intends coming back somewhere down the line which, like I say, he has done several times before!! Wonder how the short stint for Deirdre week made him feel?
He also said that Corrie bosses want to keep Peter alive so that's good news too!!

He did say in an interview that he gave shortly after his Deirdre stint how much he had enjoyed being back and meeting all the cast and crew again and it had made him realise just how much he missed working there...so I am sure we will see Peter again and hopefully in the not to distant future....He has to come back anyway to sort Simon out..

Kal was fine until the scriptwriters stuck him with Saint Leanne. She drags every character down.

Zeedan is just dull. Alya was the best of a bad bunch but she is also dull now.

So. Rather than being dragged down by Leanne, you could say he was dragged down by the pathetic excuse of a family they lumbered him with?

Regardless of how awful the Nazir's are, any potential Kal had was ruined when he got lumbered with Leanne.
