They're all awful.

I have even gone off Alya who I liked to begin with.

I voted for the chickens- probably shouldn't have as thinking about it I didn't much enjoy that storyline.

Out of the human family, Alya always seemed the one with the most potential to until this cheating with Jason sl. Zeedan on the contrary has improved lately following Kal's death but i'm confused over his pairing with curly si.

Killing off Kal has actually made the family more bearable and given them something to do- particularly Zeedan, who is a lot less tedious and stroppy now. Alya, however, has been given terrible and clichéd material- getting drunk, sleeping with Jason and thinking she's pregnant? Totally out of character.

I love Leanne, and found that she and Peter made a great couple, and also loved her with Nick, so have never seen her as a sap on any other character.

Absolutely agree with you Craig!! Judging by his very last episode, we may finally have seen that Kal as a character could have had potential but the way he was written previously there was absolutely nothing to him & Jimi Mistry looked like he couldn't wait to finish every scene he was in!!
It was Kal who had seriously brought Leanne down as a character & even Jane Danson was beginning to look like she was fed up of carrying every scene they were in!! Getting rid of Kal was one of Blackburn's best decisions yet!!

Totally agree with everything you say.....Though when Peter returns I honestly wouldn't know if I would prefer Leanne with Peter or with Nick..especially now that Nick has toughened up slightly..

I did enjoy the scene when Peter found out Leanne had been shagging Nick and announced it at their wedding - coming out with lines like "That's whores for you".
But for me watching paint dry would be more interesting than having to watch another round of Leanne and Nick together. Not that Nick is a very exciting character to watch at the best of times but he was beyond dull and going nowhere as a character when he was just stuck with Saint Leanne.
Simon turned into a brat pretty much the second it was decided that he should live with her.

Zeedan's getting better, but only because of a truly remarkable change in his character.

Alya and Yasmeen

They are poor additions to the programme especially Daddy and the sulky teenager. As the Daddy and Yasmeen don't use the Rovers it means they don't interact with much of the cast., which doesn't help their cause.

Jimi Mistry Was a disappointment as his usually a capable actor.

I voted Yasmeen, just because of how she over pronounces Liiiiiibary and comuuuuunity centre.
