The only Kirkwood I'd want to see in Corrie would be Carol, maybe behind the bar at the Rovers in a slightly too tight top.

Birkwood would promote the likes of Callum and Bethany to the top of the show. He'd probably turn Gail and Eileen into a lesbian couple, much like the random sexuality changes on HO.

Bryan Kirkwood worked at Coronation Street years ago in the storylining and scripting teams.
Stranger things have happened, but I don't think this is true at all.

I think Corrie will need a big shakeup much like Brian Park in 2007. I could see Kirkwood coming in and axing Norris, killing off Michael, Callum bedding Bethany, Todd and Sean suddenly falling in love with each other, Tracy returning to her killer ways, Audrey and Ken marrying each other and taking over The Rovers, Liz becoming an alcoholic, Steve and Michelle adopting a child,

Then every January around the NTAs a sensational stunt - Hollyoaks have done a variety that Kirkwood could emulate on Corrie. An explosion rips through the Street, Callum and Jason figting on top of the viaduct and one of them being hit by an oncoming tram, a killer doctor in the medical centre, Eileen's long lost daughter shows up and attempts to murder her on the red rec.

For Britain's Got Talent week - Coronation Street - Corrie's Got Drama. Every night at 9pm a spinoff, much like Hollyoaks Later, begins, that runs parallel to the main soap. Callum (again) having survived the fall from the viaduct, elopes with Bethany to Manchester. However, he becomes deranged on heroin and we find them living in squalor, Bethany pregnant and being regularly beaten by Callum. She breaks free from his clutches by injecting him with a lethal overdose....she then runs for it but goes into premature labour.

Back in Weatherfield, Simon Barlow attacks Leanne and puts her in a coma.
Sarah Louise and Jason get married for the 2nd time, but an explosion rips through the Bistro. Another one, this is Kirkwood.
Emily Bishop discovers she has terminal cancer and begs Sean's vicar boyfriend to help her die.
Rita and Ken have an affair, whilst Audrey is trapped under the rubble of Sarah and Jason's 2nd wedding.

Kirkwood brings in Zoe Lucker from EastEnders and Hollyoaks, she becomes new landlady of the Rovers, after Liz leaves Weatherfield.

That would make me watch Corrie again, bloody love Zoe Lucker and she is by far his best casting in Hollyoaks.

If it was like that I would definitely watch it!

I think you mean 1997, not 2007

Meanwhile in Hollyoaks, watch as Mercedes & Porsche come to blows over Lockie, in an 'epic hour long' episode where Porsche lightly pushes Mercedes on to a load of boxes whilst crying crocodile tears with plenty of hammy acting. It's too good to miss.

That will only happen if Kerion Roberts leaves, so many people forget that he is the one running the show, Blackburn has to answer to him and everything Blackburn does has to get approved by Roberts.

Hope not or it will mean he will bring his BFF James Sutton with him.

You're right, 1997, silly me

Mercedes and Porsche, the showdown to end all showdowns. Epic hour long drama. Dramatic trailers showing the only good two minutes of the whole 60 minute episode

To add to the ever thrilling drama, who will remember to put the correct bin out on bin day?
Darren & Tony will be conned out of £25 for some T-Shirts which are apparently the 'in' thing by Cameron. When the t shirts don't turn up, what will Darren & Tony do? Break into the warehouse only for the owners to follow then & try to get off with their telly, only for Maxine to stop them in their tracks by piercing their eardrums
