Paul Coker might well be one of, if not the most arrogant British soap character ever. So very unlikeable. I wonder if TPTB will make him a villain. Otherwise he's just incredibly annoying and cringeworthy. I dislike Paul even more when people mention Johnny/Sam in comparison.

(Note its the character I strongly dislike, I have no real opinion on the actor although his acting is meh)”

Johnny was lovely.

What's the point in comparing him with Johnny? They're two completely different characters. Why aren't you comparing him to Jay? Or Max? or Dr Legg??

Is this a fact vaslav? I've looked him up and can find nothing about his real life sexuality

Ben deserves better tbh, to go from Johnny to Paul is quite the come down.

I like Paul. Ok he is a bit full of himself sometimes but I think that he's just a very confident person. I actually like his hair and dress sense, why not?! Ok I wouldn't find that look attractive in real life but I think it gives his character an edge. He's not afraid to be different and that's good!!

He's a very average actor, and the character is nothing to write home about.

Or Shirley Benson or Li Chong

He's a smarmy little get. The whole Coker family are a mess. What the hell is the point of them?

I would axe Les but keep Pam and Paul.

I want to like Paul but his character development has been poorly mapped so far.

I don't mind him actually, I just hate his forced relationship with Ben. But hey, there is an unwritten rule in soaps that if two characters are gay then they must be sexually attracted to each other and have a relationship, regardless of any other factors such as personality or circumstance or anything.

I'd axe the whole lot of them. I doubt anyone would notice they'd gone. They exist in their own little bubble that has nothing to do with anyone except occasionally Billy.

He's sexy asf... gets me going every time he's onscreen. I love his dress sense, makes him even more sexier. God I sound like a child in a sweetshop right now.

It's a fact as Vaslav has confirmed. Surely that should be enough. There is absolutely nothing online confirming his sexuality but the expert has spoken.

I enjoyed his huffy flounce in Blades but that's been about it. The open to the waist shirt thing is a bit uggggh!

I think he's an interesting character. I'm glad they've given him more to do than just be Ben's bit on the side aka the token gay. The acting's fine too. His dress sense is atrocious though.

He's awful so far, that scene when he jokingly pretended to shoot Lola across the road was just embarrassing to watch.

He is awful. I was hoping we'd got past the stage of hiring pretty boys that can't act but apparently not.

We haven't seen him do anything serious yet.

I think his acting is good. He's only been around five minutes - give him a chance! I've seen a lot worse acting. I think he is fitting in well int he Square and I love the Cokers. It's nice to have a different family set up on the Square.

I want to like him - I am reserving judgement to see if the smug cockiness gets toned down.

They really need to stop dressing him like Crocodile Dundee and all.

The whole of the Cokers are crap ! Les being the worst closely followed by Paul. Les "singing" his lines as he does a Kenneth Williams impression makes me want to scream. Paul is cringey to watch.

I like him. He's cringey but harmless, and has given the Cokers a bit of life

I think he's fine, I was quite pleased Lola got the job though in Blades, even though it was pretty obvious Lola would because Paul was convinced he was going to win.
