Just re-watching the series and I'm not sure if I liked the idea or not to be honest
What do people thin?

Suspect OP confused year with series, BB14 in 2013.

Note best ratings on C5 to date.

I loved the idea but I think BB could have exercised a bit more subtlety - they just had to go in all guns blazing as they do. He might as well have been wearing a neon sign over his head saying 'I'm an actor - I'm not a real housemate!'

I'd have also liked to see him stay longer and play it out more. Obviously at a slower pace.

If i'm honest I preferred him to the majority of the real contestants that series...

I thought he was awful. He was a bad actor and did such a poor job. I spent the whole first week wishing he would leave. I was shocked he even got cheers when he left he was that bad at convincing the others he was a genuine housemate. Half of the house cottoned onto him within the first 24 hours! But I blame the producers mainly for putting an actor in the house with an experienced detective. What were they thinking?

I agree that they practically outed him from the off but I liked the idea too. It also didn't help that he was such a ham. I'm sure they could have found a better actor at one of the many drama schools and academies dotted around the British Isles.

He was good considering the circumstances he was in. But just not quite good enough.

I think he played it all wrong. He was supposed to be a unique housemate, but then just played it how a normal housemate would, basically being all tediously apologetic all the time. Might aswell have just done the twists without an actor.

I think he should have played it up in a slightly arrogant way, pretending he wasn't sorry as he didn't really like them, and really annoyed the other housemates. That would have been funny as only an actor would have the balls to do that.

Did he ever get another job?

He's probably waiting tables in La-La Land.

Oh, I just about to remember. Another CH5 twist that failed miserablely.

I have no memory of this person at all.

He was ok but he did send Dan into a paranoia that he battled with for the rest of his time in the house. It was all a bit hammy and cringe to be fair but that was the part since most BB HMs are just that.

He was pretty good, they could have found a better actor but he did it well.

It was all worth it for the eviction interview with him and Sallie Axl.

Him shredding suitcases on Day 1 made it pretty clear he was part of some form of set up, especially when they all knew the tag line was SECRETS AND LIES!

His challenges should have been a lot more subtle, and it should have gone on for longer. However; the C5 production team don't have the first idea of how to execute a twist properly. They would rather go in all guns blazing for short term results and with zero dramatic pay-off

He was a rubbish actor, and I didn't reckon much to the twist either and was glad when it finished. I hate it when these overhyped, unnecessary launch night twists drag on and on, and I'd rather they'd just let things develop.

He was alright as a person but a rubbish actor and the whole set up was poorly put together. The shredding of the suitcases could not of made the situation more obvious.

I really liked him and that twist. I think it sparked the paranoia which filled that house through the series and without him/the twist it would have been a very different show.

Best C5 series by far.
