There's bound to be another twist. My theory is Marsden will do a deal with Max to get him to say that Ben killed Lucy or he saw him dump the body or something that else that nails him. He will be charged and Max will go into witness protection. Of course I may be completely wrong but I just can't see another 2 episodes where there won't be any more twists to the storyline.

it would only reach court, when the police have enough evidence to send to the Fiscal to decide if charges would have a reasonable chance of winning in court. If I was Max and he was charged, I would be pointing to the fact they have arrested several people so far for it... in other words they are just clueless.
