Longshot but maybe Phil further implicates Jay so the police do a manhunt for him so he can get his granddaughter back.

Me and other people saw him drive into work and I met him and had a photo took with him.
I am still wondering how the police have no idea that Lucy suffered several head traumas spanning a number of days leading up to her death by padded jewellery box.

Low point: The Cokers/Hubbards don't interest me. Pam is the best of a bad bunch.
Max and Carol scenes were a highlight- Max is at his most watchable with his sister and I hope he disowns dumbstruck Abi who deserves everything that's coming her way. I hope that he tells the police that she 'battered' Lucy on Good Friday. Abi has shown a mean, violent streak in the past year dunking her sister in a bowl of water at Halloween and coldly reacting to her killing her pet dog, Tramp. Watch out Ben and Paul!
I think the car lot clean-up will come into play which could in turn lead to Cora's return as she witnessed the clean-up. Max also got rid of the CCTV and got Lucy's blood on his shoe. It's all set up for Max to take the fall but Marsden is determined to pin it on a Mitchell so it could go either way. Ben's prints are all over the phone and purse from the mugging but so too are Jay's....
Denise and Lauren are key to the truth being revealed. Denise gave the phone and purse to the Beales. She also knows that Lucy was back in the house as she was last to see her before Bobby and Jane. I think Denise will piece it altogether sooner or later or she may enter the frame as she seems to have kept her altercation with Lucy from the police. Lauren was told it was Bobby at Lucy's graveside by Peter and Jacqueline is back filming. Watch out Beales!
Loved Jay standing up to Phil. There may have been a bit of foreshadowing by Roxy stating that Phil will end up all alone especially with the K bomb soon to detonate. Phil will end up alone. Jay was completely right in his judgement of him. Phil treats everyone like dog excrement. Phil loves Ben but he even turned him into the police. Look how he treats Billy and Lola also felt his wrath during the custody battle. We know Jay will be back which brings me back to the prints....Jay followed Lucy that night, was with Ben and then what? Was he on Fatboy's video? Lola better take Lexi with her.
Dean saying that Les would die before him. Possible foreshadowing of Dean's death?
Lol at Bryant winking.
Sharon works best in the matriarchal role. She was great with Abi and I love her heading the Mitchells.
Roll on next week.
