I think Diane will get Rose now, by doing what she did Tegan ensured it!!!

I really hope Diane doesn't now get Rose.. but thanks to Tegan (or should I say the writers) stupidly doing this, she has now given the worst mother in the world a chance to get both girls.

Unless Tegan isn't the GHK and they are planning on ruling her out, then Tegan wont be in jail for long.

I don't know how Tegan can avoid prison but the sad thing is she probably will.

This is something I really hate about HO at the moment . How are we supposed to invest in and care about relationships when we know that it will only last about a week. One moment a character is declaring their undying love for one partner and then the next episode are chasing after someone else.

No doubt Tegan and Scott will get off and avoid jail despite the fact they kidnapped a child. They will prob be a couple by next week.

Pete is a paedophile. I actually find his grooming of Cleo very chilling & believable.

I did feel sorry for Tegan when she was in the back of the police car crying but shouldn't of done what she did.

That episode was painful, I dont care enough for the lovedays to care about their pain, Tegan and Scott were too annoying and Ziggy was the best actor in the episode which is scarey

Edit: And isn't Cleo 17? Not a paedophile, just a bit immoral. The actress that plays her is about 22 I think, so if they're going for the pedo angle, it's not believable at all.

From what was said it started some time back before Cleo came to Hollyoaks & she was in boarding school for a while as well. She only just had her birthday so I think she was probably 14/15 when it started. She's not an adult in the eyes of the law until 18.

I think Kai is brilliant as Pete. He really does give me the creeps. I wish Cleo supported Porsche & I did feel angry when she didn't, but I think Cleo thinks she's partly to blame. She told herself that she did have some feelings for him. She obviously feels what she is doing is wrong, also somewhat confused & also feels trapped because she does not want her mum to fall off the wagon again.

No, she hasn't. One argument (where Ziggy was just as much to blame as Leela) and he's trying to leave the country with Tegan because "Leela doesn't really love him"

Polish people are in this country legally. If someone employs them without qualification , vetting them properly, that's illegal , but fault is on employer's side , not employee.

She's 18 now I think, it was her birthday party a couple of days ago (& Nadine Mulkerrin has said in interviews that Cleo becoming a legal adult is now part of the storyline.) But Pete abused Porsche when she was 15, and it's almost certain that he began grooming Cleo (and possibly having sex with her) while she was still underage

I meant to say I was thinking that if Tegan had actually left Rose with a Polish childminder, she'd have gone for one she knew to be illegally employed, just so they wouldn't try to go to the police. Still, I'm glad that Tango Man is the one that's going to get in trouble now, not an innocent person who had no idea Rose had been kidnapped ...

It's not about her being desperate or "needing" to look to an older man for attention, it's about her being groomed and manipulated from a young age. Obviously if it was a normal situation it's unlikely she'd take an interest in someone like Pete.
He absolutely is a paedophile, it's been made clear he's been sleeping with Cleo on and off for years, and he abused Porsche at the age of 15.
They wouldn't show an actor or actress who really looked like a young child in those scenes, it'd be too disgusting, certainly for a show that goes out at half 6. It's very creepy and nauseating to watch Pete in those scenes with Cleo, who looks about 18/19 to me. If for example he were abusing Tom, who still looks about 12, I think a lot of people would complain/switch off.


Agree. I think she was "into" it when it happened historically but it's now slowly dawning on her how bad it is and she doesn't know what to do, feels like it's her fault in some way, and is worried what would happen to her mum if she found out.

I seem to be in a minority but I don't rate Louis as an actor at all, I thought he was laughable tonight.

BK making Tegan a part of this kidnapping has made sure Diane will get her hands on baby Rose and maybe full custody only only just Rose but Tegan's real daughter Dee Dee as well.
