I really cannot wait until this ugly cretin of a character gets what she deserves.

A) Has an stupid affair with her sisters fella. TPTB expect us all to be on the Beth-Ditto lookalike's side as she is the underdog and really really unattractive.

B) She teams up with Hollyoaks worst character and kidnaps her own kid (probably for attention).

Tegan didn't kidnap Rose for attention, but because she was afraid Diane would be awarded custody of Rose. Which strikes me as far-fetched: Rose has grown up with and bonded with Tegan despite not being her biological daughter, so (unless both women agreed to swap babies back) I can't see why Diane would be granted custody. Tegan had no criminal history up until this point and she's in remission from cancer, there'd have been no reason to declare her an unfit mother.

I absolutely agree on the Ziggy thing. When other characters try to steal a family member's partner, they're usually shown to be in the wrong - even when it was Freddie, who is Birkwood's pet and gets away with absolutely everything, we were still supposed to see it as wrong (although justified by his "love" for Lindsey.) Tegan on the other hand doesn't just want to run off with her sister's husband, she wants to drag Leela through the mud too. And we're supposed to be totally on her side and not see anything wrong with it. Remember how when Leela was late to the wedding, Tegan wanted to march into the church with Ziggy and announce that they were a couple in front of all Leela's guests? People complain about Leela, and Diane, but the main reason they've become so bad recently is to make Tegan look better ...

Just because you dislike the character, please don't call her ugly & so forth. It comes across as very nasty.

I'm not a fan of Tegan, but just because she is overweight does not mean someone would not find her attractive.

I actually think the kidnap storyline is very st*pid but don't think it's for attention. I think she was desperate not to lose Rose but her actions mean that she will.

For what you wrote & comparing Tegan to Beth Ditto gave me the impression you found both ugly because of their weight & that was not constructive to discussing the character of Tegan & came across as nasty to me.

the entire storyline has reached insanity... it was pushing it before. No way Tegan and the teeth are getting away with this now, unless they plant Rose somewhere and call the police...

The other day when Diane was pouring her heart out, Tegan was so not bothered and looked incredibly shifty, in fact I have not seen her be bothered at all considering her daughter is meant to be missing. Saying that Diane went on a weekend break, with her daughter missing !!! Rose will probably turn up in a few weeks, five years older with a recast and all will be forgotten

This storyline has been ridiculous from when they all found out. Diane wanted custody of rose as well as dee dee. How was that ever gonna work?

I am sure all the Hollyoaks writers go on a massive 12 hour pub crawl, then meet up to pitch storylines

Marianne didn't call Tegan/the actress fat, she referred to her as overweight. One is an insult, the other a description. You can make reference to a person's size if it's relevant (which it was) without it being a criticism. There's nothing at all wrong with her weight, it was just relevant to the discussion.

Poor Stephanie Davis doing the same for her acting and gets sacked for it.

ha ha yeah this is true... it would be funny if the actress came out and said the scripts and the storylines were that crazy and out there, the only way she could get her head around it and act it, was to get pished beforehand

Now, I may be remembering this wrong, but hadn't they reached a truce before the kidnap and Diane agreed that she wasn't going to go ahead with the custody request for now? Why did Tegan suddenly panic? And who the hell would choose Scott as their accomplice: a guy she barely knows, who is Diane's nephew, and who obviously can't be trusted further than he can be thrown?!

you are right, everything was sorted and cooled right down.... then inexplicably Tegan thinks kidnapping her own daughter with the "Teeth" is a great idea. Scott only had a slight hump about living arrangements, and get's talked into kidnapping and disappearing for weeks on end without anyone noticing

Even if Diane went for custody. Why would tegan think Diane would win? Do agree about Scott. Why anyone would choose that Muppet to do anything I'll never know.

it is very silly.... if babies were swapped at birth and it is discovered later on, why would one mother think she can have both babies. Only scenario I can see that happening is if one of the mothers was a heroin addict and had the baby taken off her, or if one of them died... I find it strange that no one seems to shoot down Diane's delusions when she is spouting off about it

If I remember correctly Tony faked wanting to date Tegan to get close to Rose. Tegan found out & ended up in an argument with Diane & Tony & Diane threatening to get custody of Rose again. Not long after Tegan began screaming that Rose was missing.
