Michael is so unforgiving! Gail was only trying to protect him by doing what she did; not like him when he was robbing her blind in broad daylight! He's got such a short memory!

As for Eileen aka Giant Haystacks! She's like a big sperm whale, swallowing up every man in sight! I think its horrid that she's gone after Michael! He's only been married 5 minutes! And she knows how much Gail loves him.

I hope Michael and Eileen get what they deserve. Both are so nasty!

If they both work on the switch at the taxi office how do they get so much time together?
You would think they would have at least 16 hours a day apart, and then they have to sleep etc.

Michael was such a pompous arse when he told Gail they were over after Audrey's party. All that 'if that's how you wish to see it'

Michael could never get back with Gail after what she did. Not telling him that his son was dead and disallowing him from going to the funeral However turning to Horrible Eileen just smacks of a man desperate for a bed for the night.

If him and Eileen are going to split which is a given really then I can see him moving onto Rita. She's another one that's desperate and has some cash so is perfect for him.

Blackburn has put these two together just to get Gail jealous and also for Gail and Eileen to have another fight on the cobbles Dont worry he will be back in Gails bed but that is after he gets Eileen pregnant

I would have been quite happy for him & Gail to get back together, but the way she was behaving in last night's episode was so bloody irritating, I was glad he chose Eileen!!

I guess that would be just too sensible for this deluded producer - whose constant character re-inventions , and ongoing support for a few select , yet very poor, actors who diminish the programme so often beggar belief.

By the way, the description of the 'gargantuan' Eileen was wonderfully apt .

Collinson ruined the character of Eileen and she hasn't been the same since.

I suppose she and Michael are slightly less annoying than Michael and Gail and their simpering but that's not saying much...

I think they should have put Micheal and Eileen together at the very beginning much more well suited to one another..

Agree. i enjoy watching Eileen with Michael much more than Gail simpering and batting her eyelashes at him. It annoyed me that Gail automatically assumed Michael would take her back.

Me too, I like them together, much better than Michael with Gail.

Eileen isn't as nice a character as she once was.

And I'm waiting for Gail to get her act together and tell Michael some home-truths - something along the lines of:

Where do you get off being so self-righteous, as though you never made a mistake? I didn't know what Andy had been done until Gavin turned up making threats and then blackmailing me. This is hard for me to say, and will be hard for you to hear, but rightly or wrongly, he hated you - he even said he didn't care if you died. At the time, I was in shock so obviously my judgement was going to be a bit impaired. Yes, maybe I should have told you the truth - and I would have done if I hadn't been scared you would die from the shock. At the very least, I knew it was going to hurt you, and I didn't want that. I knew the truth would have to come out eventually, but not then - not when you were so vulnerable. Of course it was wrong, but my motives were good. So if you can end our marriage and shack up with someone else in such a short space of time, well your love was never as strong as mine, because I did what I did out of love, and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

I'm not asking you to forgive me - I'm asking you to at least understand why I did it.

For God's sake scriptwriters - have the woman stand up for herself!

That's very good, but too good for that shower of scriptwriters to come up with! I love the idea of Gail standing up to him instead of being such a doormat. I hope in time she gets over him, and when him and Eileen are done making each other miserable (as they will), Gail can tell him where to go when he comes crawling back (which he will). In fact I'd like Gail, for once,to meet a decent fella, not a murderer or conman, just a hard working, financially secure man to take care of her. She deserves a bit of happiness, won't happen though.

I'm starting to agree. I liked Michael, and I can understand him wanting some time out to gather his feelings - but to get with Eileen so soon, whilst at the same time he's been staying with Andy and Steph, is just totally unrealistic. The scriptwriters haven't even bothered to show us scenes of that menage a trois, which could have been interesting. They created a good scenario and then just abandoned it.

Why have we seen almost no scenes between Michael and Andy since the reveal? It's just so poor. I like watching Gail v Eileen as much as anyone but this just seems too contrived when they could be offering up so much more meaningful scenes with Andy.

Yes but his son died, she went to his funeral and still didn't tell him. As a viewer I don't understand it. She took all his choices away, so I doubt the character understanding her actions would be realistic.

I think at this point Les Dennis just needs to b*gger off back to Family Fortunes and let's forget this whole sorry episode (the total destruction of Gail's character has probably been one of the worst things Blackburn has done during his time on CS... And my god there's a lot to choose from!

Gail just needs to get beaten up like Andy and he will forgive her then like when Andy got beaten up
