Max isn't a terrible father. He has tried his best. Ignoring his shagging around, he has done all he can to be a good father. Do they forget that Tanya isn't a saint? She had an affair with Max while Max was married to Bradley's mother and then had another affair with Max while she was married to Greg. Which is why I never felt sorry for Tanya when the Max's affair with Stacey was revealed. Tanya coming and going in their lives must be damaging to Lauren and Abi as well.

Sorry but my other half had awful things happen because his mum ran off with the local butcher after meeting him a WEEK before. She had been married to my bf's dad for over 20 years and he did everything for her. She never had to work. She ran off when my bf and his siblings were 11, 13, 14. Dad got custody, but the new stepmum and her kids made their lives absolute hell. The siblings would still NEVER do anything so spiteful or blame their parents for anything that went wrong in their lives after their mother ran away/their father remarried to an awful woman with awful children.
