Well i dont think how he can stay in show after everything has come out and everybody will know what he did Do you think they might kill him off and then we will have a Who killed Robert Sugden storyline

The only thing this Robert has in common with the other Roberts is the name.
Back to the OP's question. He will be sticking around until the time Andy finds out what he's really hiding from him. Andy will then do what he wanted to do all those years ago.
I think Chrissie and Andy have the potential for a great pairing, but whether that would translate well chemistry wise (and whether a good storyline could be written!) is unknown. I agree that they should both stay single for a little while yet though, especially Andy.
If he is sticking around I think they are going to have to take him to rock bottom and then gradually start to redeem his character otherwise I don't think he will stay for much longer. For instance if he saves someone like Chas or Paddy in the upcoming disaster that would be a good start.
I don't think that Robert was ever supposed to be a long term character. He became popular so they extended his run, but clearly he will be gone soon, either imprisoned or murdered. It is too bad because I think that the character and the actor were both good additions to ED.
I think Ryan Hawley has done a brilliant job of bringing back Robert Sugden!
Evil, bad, good, loving or gay - he has been wonderful! Bad guys live on in Emmerdale - look at Ross and Cain! There's always room for one more! (maybe Jai too!)
See what the 'Summer FATE' brings eh?
Blame the writers that decided to take this direction with nuRobert not the actor. Ryan Hawley is doing a brilliant job with what's given to him. The fact that he was suppose to be short term but that changed meant they felt he can take whatever is given to him and they were right. I hope Robert stays a bit longer. I would like to see him redeem himself.

Do agree that the way they've taken Robert is nothing to do with Ryan. He's doing great in the role. He hasn't actually murdered anyone... Yet. It would be interesting to see what Andy does because we saw his reaction to finding out Katie was right about him and Arron. Imagine if he finds out Robert was responsible for her death. Not sure how he stays when it comes out. Whether it's prison or death I don't know.

Not sure because he's apart of her business as well. If he's helped her it grow then surely he'd be entitled to a percentage of it. If he wasn't in business with her then no he wouldn't get anything.
I hope not but I would be surprised if he is around by next year. Shame. I think him having a part in Katie's death was not only predictable but pretty much decreased his shelf life in the show. I just hope Ryan gets more work after ED anyway. He's been fab. Playing a villain is difficult as it come across as very panto (Callum in Corrie or Derek in Eastenders) but Ryan notched it up another level. Normally being better than some of the scripts given to him.
