Loved Sharon this week, i much prefer it when she is confident and is sticking up for the younger members of the clan. When the others were sticking the knife into Abi, she was the one who offered an olive branch and accompanied her to the police station. She also told Abi to think about what she was doing when they were outside the police station.

We need to see more of this, Sharon should act as an agony aunt for the younger members of the family and she needs to stand up to Ronnie and Phil more often.

The current Mrs Mitchell is Phil's biggest doormat yet....and where's her own kid while she's playing Mother Teresa to other people's kids.

You just know that the Shirley fans will say she is a doormat but at least she gives Phil a hard time. She's not the head of the Mitchells but I do love her relationship with abi. I'm really glad her and Phil are together for the long haul and I think Kathy's return will strengthen Phil and Sharon's relationship.

* I say Shirley fans because they are always the ones who are critising Sharon but the Sharon fans like myself are just as bad . Are they bitter that Sharon married Phil, not Shirley?

I love Ma Mitchell. She's got a good heart and loads of life experience with which to help the youngsters out. Too bad Abi didn't listen to her. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when Gavin and Kathy return.

I liked it and I loved the reference to Den when she was trying to get Abi to reconsider betraying Max.

Sharon is one of all time favourite characters but I rather she would become independent. I'm not sure with her and Phil. The real Sharon Watts would never let Phil treat her this badly. Sharon had always been a strong, feisty character but Phil makes her look weak, you know?

I don't mind her being "Ma Mitchell" but I don't want her constantly forgiving Phil all the time. She's improved now, that's for definite.

I'm not really a Sharon fan at all, but I do like her in those sorts of scenes, she's good as a sort of mentor/maternal figure to teen characters.

I think we're in for some quality scenes soon once Kathy's returns, I'm not 100% with the writing for her at times but she still in a better position then 2012 and right now her going solo I don't think a option, it will put her back where she was, her being part of a unit atm, is far better, whether it last I doubt it.

As for Denny I'm not sure what they're doing with him, he be what about 9/10 now, I think a recasting might be on the horizon or maybe he do a Tracy Barlow and be seen little and often until he too a age they can use him, he annoying to some but he still a valuable character down the line.

I love Sharon, she is one of my all time favourite EE characters but I hate her as a Mitchell and the sooner she is out of that family the better.

Sharon has welcome stamped on her forehead and Phil treats her like his daily doormat, the Sharon I watched in the EE early years would never have married Phil in the first place after everything he has done.

Sharon's been a Mitchell twice. I am not a huge fan or her being married to Phil but I do like the fact she is part of the Mitchell's. She seems to be the voice of reason, the shoulder to cry on. The doormat thing is inconsistent, there are times when she is not scared to stand up to Phil and the others and wee need to see that more often.

I loved it when she turned the tables on him over the fake dad thing and brought told Ben Gordon knew Kathy. Fantastic! I want that Sharon back.
