I wonder what would have happened if Letitia didn't leave EastEnders in 1995. Would Sharon have reconciled with Grant and re-married him? I think she would have but I still think Ross Kemp would have left at some point. What I wonder is if Phil and Sharon would have married sooner. I don't think Sharon would ever have been taken out of the Mitchells orbit except maybe when Den eventually returned. It would be interesting to see if Shannis happened regardless. The Vic would have been exclusively Mitchell/Watts territory I'm certain. Where that leaves the Moons and Carters is anyone's guess.

But TPTB would ensure that the concrete would alter it's atomic structure and turn into a big soft fluffy landing simply out of awe and respect for the total scumbag.

I'm still pissed off they wasted Peggy's return on a scene with bloody Mick Carter. That should have been a slapfest with Sharon. When will these 2 actually cross paths again?

if Letitia is planning to stay at EE for the long haul now like she has said then maybe Babs will make another return as Peggy. Still we have Sharon v Kathy in the autumn. |

I agree Sharon and Peggy should have shared that scene NOT Mick and Peggy.

Agreed. Sharon is much more likeable when she's standing up to Phil, being fair, rational and giving out good advise to her friends and the younger members of the square.

That's 3 times Peggy's returned and they haven't crossed swords. So many wasted opportunities with Sharon. Ah well.
These two haven't shared a scene in almost ten years. It's time TPTB pulled their finger out. |

I was convinced we'd have a Sharon vs Peggy showdown for the Anniversary. It would have made it for me.

It would probably be a disappointing retcon anyway. As has been said before, they parted on good terms. If the history isn't referenced maybe it's best they justdon't bother. EE lost so many good writers.

That Mick/Peggy scene was cringey and embarrassing. I can't believe anyone let that get aired. It was more Danny Dyer meets Barbara Windsor than Mick Carter meets Peggy Mitchell. Why Peggy needed to meet a recent and not at all iconic character who just happens to run the same pub she once did is anyone's guess. DTC missed the mark on that one. Not everyone is in love with Mick.

Why does Sharon always sit with her legs wide apart.
