Have the actors who play Lola and Jay left Eastenders? was that their final scene with leaving in the train station?

I doubt it. If it was, their would have been confirmation it was.

Jamie Botherwick is still filming, not sure about Lola but seems really premature if that is it, I'm sure I read she wasn't leaving till later in the year.

Perhaps that lovable rogue Ben will blame it all on Jay and he will end up in prison.

Jamie Botherwick has so much more to give DTC needs to give him a chance. As for Danielle she has been axed so that could of been her exit

Spoiler
Jay features all next week. Lola is only in Tuesday's episode which I think will be her exit.

No! Jay is not leaving and I don't think Lola is leaving yet.

If her and Jay leaving somehow does lead to her exit, I think it will be slightly out of character of Lola. Unless she gets a high paying job somewhere, I can't see any reason why she wouild leave her beloved "Pops", the Mitchell clan and her friends. She is a very loyal person. Then again, look how out of character Zainab's exit was.

I think its possible Jamie is leaving his role because the week after, Max and Ben are still in the cast listings, yet there is no Jay or Lola.
Also looking at Jamie Borthwick's instagram over the past 4-5 weeks, it seems he's been off for a while and I'm still of the belief that he will be the one sent down for Lucy's murder.

The scenes between him and Phil seemed to be setting up an exit storyline. Right now the red herring has been Max and Ben, I think the big twist will be that Jay's prints are very prominant on Lucy's belongings, and along with the fact he has already been questioned about the robbery and being on the bus the night Lucy died, could well be enough evidence to send him down.

I think you could be right, It does feel like there is a twist to come I think Jamie is a brilliant actor who has been really underused, I wouldn't mind some time out for him as long as he comes back as a strong character, Jay will be the Son Philth wishes was Ben.

If the Max stuff is a red herring, I wonder what he'll say to the police. When you think about it, Carol was so calm right before he went to the station. If he was going to turn himself in, she would've been angry/persuaded him to think again. Maybe his temporary exit will be leaving with Carol, only to return without her next year.

Jay getting charged would be a pretty intriguing twist. Not sure how Lola's exit will be incorporated in this. If she goes, where else does she turn? Billy and the rest of the Mitchells are her only known family around. It's not as if she can turn to her old mate Alexa or something.

If that happens I could see Lola turning her back on the Mitchells and taking Phil's precious granddaughter with her. Ben will suddenly care about the daughter he's never had any time for. If she leaves Lexi behind I'll be furious.

I really don't want Jay to be leaving permanently but seeing Jay charged would be a brilliant storyline for him and give Jamie Borthwick some great material to work with, unfortunately it would mean Jay being off our screens in prison until the trial.

As Max (Jake Wood) recently signed a new two-year contract I doubt the BBC will be paying him to go to prison for a life stretch

I thought Jake Wood was having a year off?

I don't keep up with who is coming and going in EastEnders, but could Max be released and him and Carol go to Australia to visit Lauren and she comes back with him?

Maybe Carol could find happiness in Aus and stay out there and leave the door open to her return in the future?

Me too. I really hate Ben. A lot more than I used to hate Philth. Even Kathy won't be able to put him right again.
