Just after catching up with this week's EastEnders!

Ooh Marsden, she just is the tonic that was needed to inject life back into what was feeling like an ailing few weeks for the show. The sexual tension between her and Phil (though just on her part) is astonishingly comedic

I bet Keeble and Byrant have corridor discussions about her infatuation with Philth...

But back onto topic, it was a good week of episodes. Shirley yet again proving what a vile woman she is blighted it slightly, but apart from that, t'was good. Also, why did I find myself feeling sorry for Max? I loathe the character, but that Abi one needs sorted!

They are a lot of biased, incompetent halfwits but then maybe that's their charm.

I love how Keeble/Bryant and Marsden aren't really interested in taking down the killer but rather want to take down a Branning and a Mitchell respectively to boost their own egos, they all know clearly theres no real evidence to suggest either of them did but what the hell they'll get them sent down anyway lol

loving Marsden and Keeble together! pure gold! and throwing Ritchie Scott into the mix just makes it even more better!!

The scenes between Marsden, Keeble, Bryant and Ritchie this week have been a pleasure to watch. All very good actors and real characters and not just cardboard cop outs we usually get in a soap. The fact these scenes have had so much praise will hopefully make EE and the BBC consider a spin off with them as I could happily watch a whole series with them.

It's a shame they had to go and charge Max. I was enjoying seeing the Mitchell weasel squirm in the cell scenes.

It has been a really good week. EE police are just as good as the main EE characters. I cheered when Marsden first turned up at Philth's door lol.

I could not agree more - a spinoff would be wonderful, but the only spinoff we seem to get is Kat & Alfie in Ireland

I really enjoyed this weeks episodes, they were fantastic & was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Agree with the other posts in that the police characters & Ritchie are really interesting, but I've only been watching again for a few months after a 15 year break. What's the history with DCI Marsden & Phil? Apart from the fact she clearly fancies him, it always amuses me how every female in the square finds Phil irresistible

Did they charge Max? I thought they just arrested him but I could be wrong.

Marsden is one of my favourites but it can be a bit tiring when she always try to bring down Phil/the Mitchells because she never succeeds. One day maybe.

Yes I agree with you all too! Loving the police characters! And also Ritchie Scott, DS described her as a "Sia fan"

But I'm missing Summerhayes Would've loved to see her interacting with Marsden.

I may have misheard on Friday, but I thought Keeble said 'charging you' rather than arresting.
