Is BT Broadband slow today or
is it my laptop?
From around 4pm all of a sudden it started to go very slow and can hardly log into anything.... it just takes ages. I've done the normal clean of the computer i.e. disc clean up, cc cleaner and Malwarebytes and that was all OK, plus I've degragged, but it's still slow. Is it the server?

Yes, ours has been awful all day. I got up at 6.30am to let the dog out and it's been dreadfully slow all day. We were going to watch something on Netflix later, but I don't think it would cope.

I'm having problems with some sites not loading or loading very slowly. If I connect through a VPN, everything is OK. I can stream OK, it's just establishing a connection that is the problem.

...search "downdetector" for additional info on this BT issue ..
Of course as is usual with BT their own "service status" info is slow to report any problems.. |

Seems to be doing much better today, so maybe the issue is fixed.
