Pending the decision on the Man United match (and assuming we count the predictions submitted for today) it means congratulations are due to charlieparr as he records his third overall title (since he could not be caught regardless of the Man United match as all 5 went for a home win) .

The top 5 after the results today are:

charlieparr 491
dazc 484
Chris MacL 479
Mark F 478
Realale 475

Many congratulations Charlie, the second player to claim the crown three times alongside Tokyo. A truly awesome achievement and the second of the snooker / football / darts Spring treble safely in the bag 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏆🍾🎉🏆🎈👍🏻

Congratulations to Charlie.

Happy with my finish even though I dont think I managed to sneak back into the top 10 thanks to a few too many woeful weeks among the decent ones. Still, the Millwall result earlier makes up for that.

Thanks to TC and Dim for running this and all your hard work this season.

Hi Dim, should you not be listing the others to have predicted a draw in the Chelsea match?

Apologies - it was difficult trying to keep up with the late goals. For the record Cissy Fairfax, Cuishla, digiremote, dyer24, familyguy8904, Thebenster and TruffleShuffle were the players who scored 2 points from the Chelsea-Leicester draw

Any word yet on the date for the Man Utd v Bournemouth game? Unfortunately it looks like delaying our week 38 round up - no point doing it for the 9 matches as effectively once the tenth is played it means effectively posting the week's data twice....

Congratulations Charlie... great effort. Thanks again to OptaTC and OptaDim on their exceptional work and commitment to the comp.

Forgettable season for me. Football seems to be harder to predict now than ever before so even more impressive to see Charlie win for a third time.

The final match of this season is the rearranged fixture from Sunday:

Manchester United v Bournemouth
There are 48 players going for a home win here and 3 going for a draw. 15 players have backed Man United to win 2-0, 11 have gone for 3-0, 9 have gone for 1-0 and both the 1-0 and 2-1 wins have been picked once each. There are two players going for a 1-1 draw. We have 12 ubers for this match: five players have gone for a 3-1 United win, three for 3-2 and two players have gone a 4-0 win. Both of the 2-2 draw and the 4-1 United win have been picked once.

The season finishes with an uber-max and a cowpat goal.

beth84, Matthartlane, Realale, uls2000 and willrelf92 each went for Man United to beat Bournemouth 3-1 and get themselves an uber-max. The Bournemouth goal was also a cowpat meaning they each also get a +5 pat.

The 11 players who went for Man United to win 3-0 each suffer a -3 cowpat: Croctacus, daleman, Darren Lethem, DartGuru, dazc, dean michael, digiremote, dyer24, eugenespeed, fatsi and MinkyJoe. In total, there were 43 players who scored 2 points this evening.
