Not too many goals this afternoon:
charlieparr, Darren Lethem, DimSum, HaloJoe, Hayden, Thebenster, tonypennys and TruffleShuffle went for Crystal Palace to beat Southampton 1-0. 30 other players also went for Palace to win. EPY was the only player to go for a 2-1 Man City win against Swansea. Everyone else got 2 points from the home win. The winner was scored in injury time so also gains a +5 cowpat, whilst the rest of us all get a +2. Renegade Master had gone 1-0 and looked like incurring a -5 cowpat when Swansea equalised in the 90th minute, before the second cowpat goal. Apple_Crumble, charlieparr, dgsmith, Katie-Jane, U.R.Correct and uls2000 went for a 1-0 Watford win at Sunderland. All Of Me, Chris MacL, clarky323, Croctacus, Cuishla, dazc, dbal, EPY, Mal_Practice, Thebenster and Xavier Quebeck were the other players who went for an away win. davethecue, dgsmith, digiremote, Fish Go Deep, Katie-Jane and Xavier Quebeck went for a goalless draw between West Ham and Stoke. 19 other players scored 2 points from this match. The top scores from the 5 matches played so far today are: dgsmith 16 Hayden 14 uls2000 14 Xavier Quebeck 14 charlieparr 12 Katie-Jane 12 tonypennys 12 dyer24 11 EPY 11 Mal_Practice 11 Simon1984 11 Cissy Fairfax 09 clm2071 09 daleman 09 davethecue 09 dean michael 09 DimSum 09 Matthartlane 09 Thebenster 09 U.R.Correct 09 charlieparr, dgsmith, Hayden, Katie-Jane, tonypennys, uls2000 and Xavier Quebeck each managed 2 maxes dgsmith is the only player who has gained points from all 5 matches |

The other 2 matches today both kick-off at 4pm:
Liverpool v West Bromwich Albion 59 of us have gone for a Liverpool win, 4 players have gone for a draw and there are 2 players going for a West Brom win. There are 18 players going for a 2-1 Liverpool win, 17 going for 2-0, 10 going for 1-0 and two players have backed them to win 3-0. Two players have gone for a 1-1 draw and one player has gone for it to finish goalless. There is one player going for a 2-0 West Brom win. 9 of the 14 uber-max predictions are for a 3-1 Liverpool win, whilst two players have gone for a 4-1 win. Call of the week so far probably goes to beth84 as the only player to go for a 2-2 between Liverpool and West Brom. The Liverpool equaliser was scored in the 96th minute, meaning that not only did she get an uber-max, she also got a +7 cowpat. All Of Me, familyguy8904 and U.R.Correct also went for a draw to score 2 points and get a +2 pat. No-one had gone for West Brom to win 2-1, but dosanjh1 and Renegade Master both went for a Baggies win and so suffered a -2 pat.
No-one went for Newcastle to win at Spurs. Their 2-1 win becomes only the fifth match this season where no-one has scored any points. The winner was scored in cowpat time, so lauro, Renegade Master, topgooner100 and WoodsMonk who all went for a 1-1 draw, suffer a -5 pat (lauro is credited with a -5 pat even though he would have only scored 2 points for his prediction, having once again violated the maximum identical predictions with five 1-1 draws). MinkyJoe was the only other player to go for a draw and so suffered a -2 pat. All of which means that the leading scores with one match remaining from week 16 are: dgsmith 21 Hayden 19 Xavier Quebeck 19 Apple_Crumble 17 charlieparr 17 beth84 15 dazc 15 EPY 15 clm2071 14 DimSum 14 Katie-Jane 14 Thebenster 14 tonypennys 14 uls2000 14 cheeks 13 dyer24 13 familyguy8904 13 Mal_Practice 13 Simon1984 13 U.R.Correct 13 digiremote 12 Apple_Crumble, charlieparr, dgsmith, Hayden and Xavier Quebeck remain the only players to have managed three exacts this weekend dazc, dgsmith and EPY have still gained points from the most matches, scoring in 6 of the 9 games so far |
