In your opinion what is Deirdre's best moment across her 42 years on the Street? I would love as many to participate as possible.

Deirdre is an iconic legend that was played by the amazing Anne Kirkbride from her arrival in 1972 until her departure in October 2014. Deirdre's on-screen departure was aired in July 2015 when Bev revealed her death. The funeral occurred on 13 July in some amazing scenes for the nation.

Free the Weatherfield One for me. I don't watch Corrie anymore but she was a great character in her heyday and I'm strangely saddened by her death.

I only look in on Coronation Street occasionally now; always hoping for an improvement, but always being disappointed. I couldn't pick a particular scene out of the long run of Deidre. I loved every minute of her time on the show. she was the ultimate professional. R.I.P. Anne.
