Yeah we've all wasted an hour of our lives watching rubbish.
Despite everything else, I enjoyed some of the subtler references to the past. Martin and Hillman, Bettabuys, Kevin and Molly's affair...
Apart from the ever watchable Sally and Tim and Alya's reference to Bettabuys, there was no other reason for watching that ep. I shouldn't have bothered.

Really? Could have sworn she was Bethany Britney. It might have been mooted as a first name... I seem to remember Sarah considering calling her Rebecca/Becky, with was the name of Martin's bit on the side at the time.

And there is another scene where she is comforting her, possibly while still in the hospital, and she says "maybe you don't like your name" or something to that effect.
She is Bethany Britney Platt now as far as I know.
I think she always wanted Bethany but Candice put her off the name saying it was too old fashioned

There's something very real about their relationship which makes it so enjoyable to watch. The row they had tonight was very well played with both sides arguing their corner without resorting to insults or predictable soap style storming out in a huff. Although Tim can seem to be under Sally's thumb, he isn't scared to stand his ground and it was good to see Sally apologising (to a degree) and the pair of them carrying on with their evening in harmony.
