Ive never watched Doctors but have a random question...

Since Doctors is set in a hospital has it ever had a gloved-hand killer storyline?

Blimey they have trouble holding on to their staff then and putting the quantity of episodes over the quality isn't a good thing

No. Doctors uses a lot of guest stars as well as it's main cast. It has featured a lot of big names over the past 15 years.




No but it has had Murder plots and tends to show scenes the other soaps don't dare. (Women having her finger cut off right after being murdered)

Dans always claiming about the high drama that goes on in Doctors but when I accidentally tuned in the characters were getting far too excited by the new mug tree in the staff room

It's not Crossroads - Well if that's all it's got going for it oh dear
You get to see Birmingham - Erm I don't have to put the telly on to see Brum, I live here
It had fantasy scenes of Jane Austen - So did Red Dwarf

I used to watch it when I was at home from school with ear infections. It was a good show but I remember having the telly turned up really loud because I couldn't hear it properly

Interesting show, I like watching the more hospital/doctor based shows like Casualty/Holby/Doctors.

I bloody loved Doctors when I was on maternity leave. I just don't get time to slot it into my Eastenders and Netflix viewing schedule these days.

I always seem to see Doctors when I visit my Granny. I work less conventional hours so I often seem to be with her at weekdays lunch-times or afternoons and this is ALWAYS on.

Though I don't watch this show all the time, I am as some will have worked out from other places, a Holby person. I much prefer the medical soap sub-genre over the conventional soaps – don't watch conventional soaps anymore at all (beyond if somebody else is watching them – usually at a family gathering at the parentals and my sister has taken over the remote control!) I like the fact that the medical soap has an in-built structure – the patient's treatment which gives stories an internal framework to hang itself on and then when that story is finished, move on to the next patient, all of which tends to prevent stories from being stretched out beyond their sell-by date, keeps things fresh by having plenty of change amongst the supporting cast but still leaves plenty of room for social issues to be explored. I do like the fact that these guys aren't frightened to be eccentric from time to time (the fantasy stuff) and don't apologise or that they don't mind having a really messed up female lead either – given Oliver Kent and the BBC seem to be determined to completely ruin Connie Beauchamp, let us all behold the complicated wonder that is Zara Carmichael!

I've watched Doctors on and off since the beginning. It's loyal to it's characters, which is rare in soap!

Maybe you should give Hollyoaks a go so considering thats the route its gone in recently

I prefer it when people keep their clothes on and I've lived close enough to the Golden Triangle of Cheshire for that area to last a life-time!
