Both Bryant's and Marsden's judgements are clouded as its personal and I hope the IPCC take this into account if they are called

As for DI Keeble, I am not sure about her apart from she wants someone arrested and charged
All it boils down to is lack of research and sloppy script-writing. The portrayal of officers engaging in a murder investigation is totally unrealistic and they really should consider employing employing an adviser with knowledge of how things like this are conducted in the real world.

Living slightly less than 10 miles from Elstree I would be quite happy to offer my services but I don't come cheap.

If EE gets external advice for stuff like rape then it should get external people in to advise them on technical issues like PACE and proper legal processes and don't forget child protection.

Speaking of police and technical issues: Miscarriage of Justice regarding Max. How does one prove this etc?

I agree with your first paragraph but we're a long way off a Miscarriage of Justice. This would mean the conviction and sentencing of someone who is innocent and he hasn't even been charged yet.

I think Keeble is alright, actually. I find it an interesting set-up as it is, with three figures leading the investigation - one has an overarching desire to put one person away for it, another has an overarching desire to put someone else away for it, and then Keeble who is tough but appears to be playing it down the middle.

I do wonder if maybe Keeble eventually begins to think that neither Ben nor Max are responsible - something both Marsden and Bryant will vehemently dispute - and she will begin to suspect the Beale's.

Marsden desperately wants a Mitchell to go down the way she was treating Ben was out of order

Bryant so wants Max to go down in revenge for him taking Emma

Keeble needs to be took down a peg or two with how she conducts herself

But soaps jumped shark many years ago and decided they no longer wanted to reflect reality, so there is no point complaining about it.

In comparison to now, they did make more effort to in the 90s and prior to that era.
