With Lola Leaving is this her exit storyline and if so what does it mean for jay hes been awfully underused and today he had a huge grudge against phil which could be developed

Does anyone know if hes listed in future spoilers or cast lists?

Jay has a future as Bens brother imo, Ben will hate Phil further when he finds out about Kathy.

I do wonder if Lola is going to die.

I'm almost certain that Phil is trying to make Jay's situation worse. Giving him money keeps Jay on the run for longer, further incriminating Jay.

Jay has a huge future as Ben's brother and the only one who has always stuck by him, he's a strong character and not afraid to go against Phil. Lola's part has been left open surely she will return at somepoint being Lexi's Mum, Ben being Lexi's Dad and Phil being Grandad it's too much for the character to never come back, either Jay gets arrested then cleared or they continue to be on the run.

Give himhim a blood relative say an uncle . Or give him some decent material.

I would actually like Jay to take the Philth down somehow.

It will never happen of course but after all the gangsters and hardman who have tried to do just that to Mr Invincible it would be ironic that a good hearted, moral lad like Jay would be able to succeed.

Sadly I expect he could be getting his P45 very shortly once Lola has gone.

How is Jay part of the Mitchell 'family'? He joined the programme at a time when I wasn't watching it.

Billy watched his dad Jase get murdered by thugs, Jay didn't know that at the time but he hated Dawn (Jase's Girlfriend) so moved in with Billy, over time Phil realised Jay was like a son that Ben never could be so Phil adopted him to become an honor y Mitchell, he even changed his surname to Mitchell for a time.

Jay needs a big storyline, imo, one that is about him, not just being angry with Phil.

Jay's one of those characters that's wasted and underused. I agree that he needs a story of his own rather than being tacked on to Mitchell stories. It would be great for Jay to team up with Vincent to bring down Phil once and for all and then have proper stories of his own. I'll miss Lola. She's a such a sweet and funny character. Danielle is an amazing looking girl and I think she'll have no problem getting other acting jobs, maybe one in a British film.

Totally agree ,his character is so underused and all the tension with Phil has been bubbling up for a while so I think he is going to team up with Vincent and go against the Mitchells. Can't see things ending well for lola - she wouldn't leave without Jay , and Jay won't stay if lola goes so I can only think she's getting killed off .

Jamie is still filming but there's no sign of Lola after tonight. I hope it's not her last appearance.

It echoes Bradley and Stacey with them on the run and Marsden after them (although Stacey was the killer). I just hope Lola doesn't meet a sticky end like Bradders.

I think Jay could leave Lola and Lexi with Dexter and come back to get revenge on Phil. He and Billy should team up with Vincent...they know the Mitchell's dirty secrets.

Jay works well in the Mitchell family and his relationship with Ben is incredible. I think however he is crying out for his own story as has proved he is a very capable actor. Maybe he could tackle anorexia or something, would be cool to see a male character have it

Jay is the most underused character in any soap. There is a lot of potential not really explored yet

I hope Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay, doesn't quit or get shown his marching orders soon - Jay is one of Eastenders' most underused characters, and Jamie has proven time and again that he's a good and capable actor worthy of big storylines. But TPTB seem to think Jay's character is better off being a minor part in a Mitchell storyline.

The producers/writers/whoever, in my opinion, need to decide whether Jay is either an actual character on his own and give him storylines of his own, or just continue treating him as a glorified extra once Lola has left and until the Mitchells have yet another big storyline that Jay can just be added on to as an afterthought which, frankly, is the biggest insult to Jamie Borthwick's acting talent.

I can't see them killing off the mother of a young child.

I feel sorry for Jamie Borthwick he's probably the best young actor on the show and the do damn all with him.

Jay needs to become a lone worth take him down a dark path.
