I notice that bet365 are doing their free in-play offer again for tomorrow's Man City V Arsenal game (http://extra.bet365.com/promotions/en/soccer/premier-league-in-play-bet-offer/)

Any advice on how best to use this offer to guarantee a win?

Thanks.

I really think you are best covering two out of three feelings you have on the game to get a return .

I have done the first best as Arsenal to win and both teams to score.

I don't see Arsenal losing the game but not necessarily win it so once the game starts I will cover the bet with a scoring draw

Of course make the in play bet your lesser of the two feelings

Sign up to BetVictor and stick £40 quid on City at 2/1. Put £50 on Arsenal pre-match with 365 and then put £50 in-play on the draw - total outlay of £140.

If City win, you'll make £30 profit, Arsenal is a £28.75 profit and a draw is a £35 profit.

Part of the T's & C's of the offer state that they can withhold the refund or void bets (amongst other things) if they think you're "guaranteeing profit", but since you're only placing two bets with them, one on Arsenal and one on the draw, there's no way you're guaranteeing anything with them.

Obviously they could still be shitty about it, but it's unlikely.

I should have said to try and get a return

Well doing this guarantees a return no matter what. Your proposal has too many holes and potentials to lose, especially if City are suddenly up for a game.

Thanks for the replies, first time having a go with one of these in play offers so glad of any advice!

Atletico have just cost me a potential £195, the useless t***s.

Looking ahead to Boxing Day, you can get 14/5 for Leicester to win at Anfield, and 12/5 for Stoke to beat United.

Well looks like the Inter/Lazio game is going to draw (I had Inter) but at least with the Atlético game I could have at least cashed out. I give up on Italian teams, especially Inter and Lazio. Sometimes I'll add one or two of those to bump up an acca and I've pretty much lost the acca as soon as I add either of them two, so it's only natural that a game between Inter Milan and Lazio was going to fail me.

Earlier on Sky Bet Leicester was 13/5 to draw, and 13/5 to win. Now they're 5/2 to win (which is basically the same odds). Decent odds.

Lots of offers on for the Arsenal Man City game tomorrow!
Coral are doing 8/1 on Arsenal to win or 10/1 on Man City
http://promotions.coral.co.uk/landing-pages/crazy-prices-online-2012/

Bet365 have the usual in-play offer which as stated in the above comments can always give a good return if used correctly.

Anyone know of any other offers coming up?

You could get Leicester at 4/1 in some places before your result today!

My acca today was all European stuff, the Italian teams can be a bit of a minefield but I had Juve, Milan, Fiorentina and Roma and they all won. Avoided the Inter game as that looked a bit dangerous.

Bet placed! Gone with the Bet365 offer, £50 on Arsenal to win at 7/5 so hopefully will get £70 return plus the free in - play bet. I will place the free in-play bet at half time, depending on what the score is!

You haven't quite done it right. The in-play bet isn't free - you have to deposit another £50 to make the in-play bet and if it fails, that is refunded to your account.

Also, unless you want to lose your money, you need to lay the bet off on City also winning so you can use the in-play bet to cover the draw and ensure a profit no matter what.

Oh ok, I think I've got it now! Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

If you've placed £50 on Arsenal for the win, you need to sign up to BetVictor and place another £50 on City for the win.

Then you place your other £50 on the in-play bet with Bet365 to cover the draw - total outlay of £150 quid.

If Arsenal win, you win £120 + £50 refunded from the in-play bet so you'll clear £20.
If City win, you win £160 + £50, so you'll clear £60 quid.
If it's a draw, you'll win £175 so you'll clear £25 quid.

I wouldn't wait too long before placing the in-play bet as well - the longer the game goes on as a draw (if it obviously remains a draw) then the odds on the draw will shorten and your profit will decrease.

More importantly, you don't breach the T's & C's at Bet365 about "Guaranteeing Profit" either and risk them withholding the refund.

Personally, I'm going to wait about 20 minutes before placing the in-play bet. In a perfect world, one team will take an early lead and the odds on the draw will lengthen and guarantee a bit more money.

I got the £70 plus my £50 back. Placed the in-play bet on a draw so lost that but waiting for the cash back offer to come through, so all in all a good return. Didn't cover the bet as I couldn't see City winning this one although they started well and I thought I could be in trouble until the first goal went in!

You were lucky then, but well done. I prefer the no-lose option myself

So you don't actually win cash, but a free bet ?. If there are no major wagering requirements, it could be worth doing i suppose.

Looks like you get a £35 bet from your £5 which as you say might be worth a try seeing as I don't have a sky account. I suppose it's like bet £5 get £30 free bets which would still make it one of the better deals currently on offer.
