Sky Bet had England at some good odds, think it was over 4/1, good odds, I was tempted, but didn't follow through.

Ok, one way to use the offer to guarantee a win is to deposit £100 (or as much as you can afford but the offer only works upto a maximum £50 in play bet), the place a £50 bet on a double chance bet PSG or Draw which is currently 2/11. Then as soon as the match kicks off, place a £50 in-play bet on Man City to win, currently 4/1.

Then you have covered all options (this is allowed under bet365 rules, I have checked with them and they have informed me that there are no restrictions on this offer) and if your first bet wins, you get £59 back plus the £50 in-play bet refunded. If the in-play bet wins, you get £250 back!

Easy money, can't lose!

Anyone worked out any other way or winning more with the offer?

If you don't already have a Ladbrokes account, I'm sure there must be a way of using both offers to get a big profit!

Bet365 have a clause in their T's & C's that states that if they think you are profiteering from the bet - i.e. covering all the bases - they they reserve the right to cancel the offer.

Quote:
“Where any term of the offer or promotion is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers, which due to a deposit bonus, enhanced payments, free bets, risk free bets or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, bet365 reserves the right to reclaim the bonus element of such offers and in their absolute discretion either settle bets at the correct odds, void the free and risk free bets or void any bet funded by the deposit bonus.”

So it's not allowed, but it's luck of the draw if they decide to enforce this or not.

Unfortunately, doing some checking around, because PSG are quite heavy favourites, the only way you can ensure some kind of profit is to do the method you've suggested ..

Minimum profit is £9, maximum would be, at the moment, £162 quid if City won.

The only other way to ensure any kind of decent profit is a big risk - basically you ignore the prospect of a draw.

Bet PSG pre-match - £50 quid returns £85.00. £50 on City in-play returns £262.50.

If PSG win, as expected, then it's £85.00 + £50.00 for £135 - £35 profit.

If City pull off the upset, the it's £162.50 clear profit.

IF, however, it's a draw then you lose £100 ..

Dang, run out of edit time. There's another way of ensuring a half decent profit, but again, you're running the risk of falling foul of 365's T's & C's.

Deposit £150 and bet £100 pre-match on the double chance PSG or City which is currently 1/4 and will return £125

£50 in-play draw will return £200 quid or if you add it to the pre-match bet if it loses, you guarantee a minimum profit of £25 quid and a maximum of £50 should the match be a draw.

One more before i crash out ..

Deposit £160 in 365.

£120 on PSG or City pre-match to get £150
£40 on in-play draw for £160.

So if it's a draw, you basically break even, but a PSG or City win guarantees a £40 profit.

With PSG as heavy favourites, you could, of course, watch the game and wait for a goal before placing the draw bet to ensure a higher outcome should City pull it off. Risky of course.

Slightly confused reading the post where I quoted myself

Anyway, IF you can find an extra £50 quid, then there's actually a way of guaranteeing a decent profit and staying on the right side of 365's Terms and Conditions.

Basically you do this ..

£50 pre-match on the draw at 888Sport returns £202.50
£100 pre-match on PSG at 365 returns £170.
£50 in-play on City with 365 returns £262.50.

So if it's a draw, you get £252.50 with a £52.50 profit.
PSG win, you get £220 with a £20 profit.
City win, you get £262.50, with a £62.50 profit.

So with the most likely outcome being a PSG win, you're pretty much going to be looking at £20 quid profit with any City heroics being a nice bonus

Hi Jason, thanks for the reply. However, I did check with bet365 last time to see if it was ok. I asked them "Would betting on Liverpool to qualify prematch and then ManUtd to qualify in-play qualify for the in-play bet refund?". Their reply was "Hi, there are no market restrictions on the offer". So I placed the bet and got the in-play refunded, but only made a few quid as Liverpool were 2-0 up from the first leg.

They have said the same when I asked about what | suggested above and they said the same reply so going to give it ago!

It's entirely up to you but, personally, I wouldn't want to take the risk that Bet365 suddenly start enforcing the clause that I showed you. The thing is, plenty of people have done these bets before where they deposit £100 quid, bet on the double chance "one or the other" beforehand and the in-play draw and 365 haven't batted an eyelid.

I know my crappy luck is such that i'll do it one day and get an email saying "We're sorry to inform you that .. "

I've got mine in place anyway and will do City as the in-play bet. It's horribly tempting to wait a little while to see if PSG take an early lead as the odds on a City win will then be rather massive. Most bookies aren't expecting them to do anything anyway, so I don't know.

Any good offers around for the golf this weekend?

I spotted a couple of good new customer deals:
Coral: Day, Spieth or McIlroy to Win 12/1
http://promotions.coral.co.uk/landing-pages/crazy-prices-online-0604/

Paddy: McIlroy to win 25/1
http://content.paddypower.com/ppc-pages/sportsbook/choose-your-offer/direct/wednesday.html

The only one for existing customers I can find is enhanced odds of 3/1 oneither Day or McIlroy to win with skybet plus they are paying 8 places at 1/4 odds foe an E/W bet.

Anyone find any other good offers?

They're 5/1 now, so if i'd given it just a few more minutes, the in-play would have returned £300 quid .. doh!

Not to worried though. Covered all my bases so i'm looking at a minimum profit of £20 quid no matter what.

#edit ..

Well there you go .. good job i got the bet on when i did after all

Odds for a City win now come crashing down to 21/20.

#edit 2

.. aaanndd back out to 5/1. This is going to be interesting

So far all of my pre-match £50 bets have gone on both teams to score, and so far all of those have came through, unless I'm forgetting one. Even if I am, I've made a profit in all of them at least.

In this case, I put £50 on BTTS, then £30 in-play on BTTS in the first half.

It's now PSG 1 - 1 Man City in the first half.

I had a £5 free bet for some reason so it was actually £55 before the game, not sure if that would have voided the offer or they'd just discount the fiver but it doesn't matter now.

£99 from the pre-match £55 BTTS
£165 from the £30 in-play BTTS first half.

£264 in total.

I don't know why people criticise Man City's defence. I like 'em.

Not relevant to the Bet365 in-play offer, but Sky Bet have them at 11/1 to win 2-1 on a price boost. If Man City somehow win this it'll be 2-1 I think.

Edit: and 11/2 to win on Bet365.

Too late to edit the above post, so...

Lol, I threw £20 of my winnings on both teams to score in the second half, with £75 returns, and now both PSG and City have scored in the second half.

Only downside is I did see Bet365 offering 14/1 (I think) for both teams to score in both halves, I did consider but that's let me down in the past so didn't follow through.

That makes it £339.
