Amazon Prime music
Just got an email today to tell me that music is now included in my prime membership.
Lots of great albums included in Prime membership. Usual care must be taken to add included music as opposed to paid for music. This looks good to me; I may renew my membership after all. |

yeah it's definitely tempting.
My wife and I have been considering Prime for a bit, mainly for the next day delivery, but also for the instant video. I think the music as well pushes it over the top. Add it altogether and it seems like pretty good value considering you'd pay £120 a year for just Spotify. Granted this doesn't have all the tracks that Spotify or Apple Music might have but it seems to be be a pretty large selection and most of what we'd end up listening to anyway. |

They also have unlimited photo cloud storage as well as a part of Prime
Getting better value. I wonder how long before they jack the price up |

I wonder how long before they jack the price up These added extras are just there to encourage more people to subscribe to the free next day delivery which in turn increases people's ordering rate of items on Amazon. There will be a trigger point where the average number of extra orders is so high that the extra orders don't offset it and where the cost to ship each item has reached a certain point |

Online music catalogue?
I'm curious to browse the Amazon Prime music offline catalogue, just to see if there's the kind of music I like among those 1 million songs. Is there any way, without being a Prime member, to browse the genres?

Question from me to those with a Fire TV stick (or maybe even the full sized box): I have been enjoying the music on Prime music, and added several Prime music albums. At first it seemed to updated automatically onto my Fire stick the next time I used it. Now I can't seem to get the newer ones to show up, even if I go down to settings and synch content. Any ideas? Also, is there a way to add music straight from the stick? I only seem to have access to the albums it updated and playlists (and some digital music I purchased in the past). |

I've got a Fire Tv Stick, and it worked for me. I added songs to my library on my computer, pressed sync on my TV stick and it appeared straight away.
Are you 100% sure you have the same account on the AFTV Stick as what you are using on the computer? Just to be sure, log out of the computer, and manually log back in. Then log out of the stick, (Deregister) and log back in (You won't lose anything). That way you will know if you are using the same account for both devices. 2ndly, are you using any Smart DNS service? As for the music service itself, I am very underwhelmed. Ok, it is great to have as part of the Prime package, but when compared to Spotify, the UI is rubbish. The fact you need to go to a computer to find a song, then add it to your library before listening on other devices is really stupid - especially as you can't even use the voice search. |

I clicked both and the music then updated. I don't think that you can add music from the stick or box. It is possible from a Kindle Fire tablet. |
