Having said that - Val, Sandy, Kerry, Finn, James and Emma are not in the trailer. Maybe there's something in that?

I'm thinking the stunts aren't over as we know
Spoiler
Chas will be injured
and she wasn't even in the building when the crash happened. So there could be characters that weren't on yesterday that will end up getting injured and dying today or tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure she was in the building. But yeah, I don't think anything is as it meets the eye at the moment.

She was there, you could see her looking shocked when the tape of Debbie and Pete was playing.

As I said, it may mean nothing.

I also wonder if the lifeless body being bundled into the boot of a car isn't actually dead but is someone being taken to be held hostage.
I could certainly see a couple of characters doing that sort of thing.”

One person might not die until next week.

Spoiler
I'm surprised Ross isn't listed.

If Ruby dies, surely Ali would appear next week.

Val definitely leaves this week.

Where is Ali and why did her & Ruby come back?

Yes and we know she's leaving.

How would they explain Eric not joining her? It's the ultimate irony for Val to die.

Rakesh, Priya and Kirin don't appear this week.

In regards to Ross:
Spoiler
I think he disappears after his fall in the lake and no one knows what's happened to him. Hence why Emma is anxious and Cain makes an admission.

That would get her out of her tight spot, and now no need for her to go to the trouble of vanishing from a cruise ship!

A lot of people think Rhona will die, but would they really kill off another mother of one of Marlon's children so soon after Donna? Also, as the actress is married to Jeff Hordley in real life, unless she opted to leave herself, would they upset him by sacking his wife? I seem to remember reading an article about them a year or more ago, where they felt settled in ED for the long-term, particularly due to the regular income this job provides while their family is growing up.

Also, Rhona has gone in search of April - the poor kid has already been traumatised by the loss of her mother and the near-loss of Lauren in her vomit-choking state. Would they really put April through witnessing yet another mother-type figure in a state of mortal danger? Unless of course, she doesn't find April.

I think so but a spoiler I seen on twitter said that Emma confronts Cain about her sons disappearance and something about Pete panicking when news filters through police have found a body. Apparently that was in one of the tv magazines not sure what one though

I doubt the actors have much influence over who gets written out and who stays. Cain could be one of the fatalities for all we know:cry

edit. just saw the Press Office spoiler, which is very promising

Fair point in most cases, but I wonder how much sway some of the longer-term cast members have (a la Steve McFadden (Phil) in EE, who seems to almost appears to have a contract clause decreeing that he can never be bested by another character!). Cain is such a popular character...would they really kill him off unless either he wanted to go or he committed a sackable offence? Just read your spoiler

I do hope that the fabulous, fit, sadly not gay carjacker does not end up returning to the village (or elsewhere) for a showdown with Prozac Pete.

Ross must live to be fabulous another day!!!!!

If I had to guess:

Dan - Disposable. Not much of a storyline going on save for wanting to better himself and in some way wants to leave Kerry.

Val - Faking her own death, actress is leaving. Who knows maybe the death will be real?

Finn - We have to have a Barton die in my book. Was going to put James but he has a ongoing story with Emma. Finn doesn't have much.

Joanie - I think she will die thus giving Cane a open door to get involved in his sons life. Cane may have a change of heart on how he feels about Kyle given the events of this week. Perhaps a custody battle with Kerry?

If Kyle's legal guardian, Joannie, dies, he will be taken into care and put up for adoption; Cain and Kerry would not even be consulted. But, this is Soapland, so perhaps the writers will forget the reality of Kyle's situation. I wouldn't give Kerry care of a hamster, and I would like Moira and Cain to have their own baby.

I swear I read that in the next issue of Soaplife that Joannie notices bruises on Sams arm. Also Kate Oates said that the characters that die would have a massive impact storyline wise, and wouldn't just be killed because they were dead wood basically.

Joanie
Sandy

Not forgetting the poor pilot.....

Ross probably crawled out of the water like someone said and survived to fight another day....

Not necessarily. Any of Ruby's family or friends could suffer depression? Kerry could train to become a nurse. Anything could happen

On Good Morning Britain Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard) remarked how they get given their own script and lines but not the rest. So, he admitted to thinking "What, Ross gone?" about Thursday's episodes.
