I always thought Joanie was brought in for something to happen to her and for a future storyline to be based on who has custody over Kyle. Maybe even a surprise return from Amy.

We are bound to be losing a character whose exit has not been announced unlike Val and Alicia. I took a chance on Alicia being killed, while Val's exit could be unrelated to the disaster.

Have people forgotten about Rachel leaving? I think Alicia/Rachel/Joanie and Emma will die.

I think Alicia and Emma will die next week. The following week Rachel will die in hospital, surprise twist Jay turn off her life resupport machine and Vanessa will lose her baby.

On the Emmerdale FB page yesterday it was saying Diane could perish as it has been rumoured that a major character is due to be killed next week.

Any thoughts on who it could be as Emmerdale are not revealing much.

I have a suspicion that Eric could also die following on from last nights episode as Eric is the longest member of cast at present

I am thinking along the lines of Jai committing a murder - either Rachel or Megan

Jai - toffee comedy baddie, awful acting
Ratchel - awful
Rodney - silly old sod
Ali - awful
Charity ( though she's in the clink) - horrid old bag
Doug - boring and never really liked the actor

Tbh wouldn't mind seeing the back of her but was thinking Ashley too.

Ashley is well liked in the village and you know what happens to nice people in soapland they don't last too long

They aren't allowed to kill Alicia off. There should be an OFCOM regulation preventing the death of those with such excellent norks.

Having just read the spoilers for next week, I'm starting to wonder if Cain accidentally kills Ross when he hits him over the head...

I hope Rachel leaves the village with Archie and Sam before it all kicks off. I really don't want Jai gloating that he's got his son back. Chris Bisson has recently signed another years contract, so I'm informed , and Sam can always come back.

I imagine Val being killed off will give us David and Dad running the B&B, I didn't think Alicia was leaving until later on this year.

I reckon one of the oldies will go, but please not Edna.

Debbie - Actress is pregnant, they are never going to kill her off for fear of the fuss it would cause even if they wanted to.
Ross - Kate Oates's golden boy of the moment, you could stab him with a thousand knives and they would just bounce off him
Andy - Actor will be here till his dying day, not a chance so soon after Katie
Aaron - Mr Misery too much to expect for that happen to the other golden boy of the soap

Moira - Probably not since any debris will just bounce off that super strength hair of hers
Chas - Another of the producers golden girls
harriet - Has storyline starting after the disaster so no
Ashley - Doesn't seem to be around next week
Paddy - Also appears not to be there.
Marlon - He is too tall to have debris fall on him and he can deflect any flying objects with his flappy hands.

Dan - Too boring a character to die in the disaster

Adam - spoilers suggest he is in danger methinks they are trying too hard

Vanessa her Baby storyline seems too important to the Show for her to die but maybe
Tracy - Powers that be seem to like her

Victoria - Her lief may be in grave danger in Kwynne's opinion but may just be saved

Really hope Emma isn't killed off, really like the actress and character (when not obsessing over James)

I'm thinking that if Val's faking her own death goes wrong and she actually does die (which does seem likely to happen), possibly Diane is involved somehow? Hence her strange smirk in the trailer and also due to the way Val has been treating her recently (blaming her for Eric's heart attack etc.)

isn't the actress who plays Debbie pregnant - maybe they'll kill her off ?
