Lola should of got Julia's theme for how a young actress like her has done so well

I love Lola but she deserved a better exit. I'm so devastated that she's gone now

Anyone else feel the same?

Perry Fenwick and Danielle Harold broke my heart with their outstanding performances. WORST decision ever to axe Lola

It was a joke if you ask me. One minute she's pissed off with pops about snitching on Jay, then they hug and bid farewell to one another.

And FFS why is she moving to Dexter's place??? She only knows him because he's mates with Jay. While we're on the subject, why didn't Cora move there when Tanya didn't come to get her a few months ago? She has deliberately made herself homeless when her daughter (Ava) and grandson are in Newcastle.

DTC never cared about her character so he wasn't exactly going to give her a better exit.

Relegated to being a glorified extra for 18 months, then written out without even getting a proper exit storyline. Seriously, Lola's exit doesn't even make sense; she's just been given a job and her boyfriend was just arrested.

Poor form, DTC.

I have to disagree Dan, it was shit, she exit on a Monday, with no resolution to anything, she just pisses off and not even see if Jay is ok or gonna be punished, what a waste she deserved better for someone who been on the show for 4 years.

It doesn't make sense, why wouldn't she stay in Walford and support Jay...He's been arrested for a mugging not a murder he's hardly getting life

Crap exit, especially that line about being happy in Newcastle with bloody Dexter! I could understand her leaving in revulsion but like you say she'd stick around for Jay.

Daft. Thought Danielle did very well tonight. Hopefully she goes onto better things.

Danielle Harold is a great actress, she deserves better treatment than this.

Hope she goes on to bigger and better things

What a bizarre exit. Lola and Jay were only leaving to avoid Jay being arrested Lola had no reason to go to Newcastle on her own. Fair enough she was angry with Billy and didn't want to be around him but what about Jay? Why leave London and him behind? As for Dexter I don't recall him and Lola being close he used to hang around with their friendship group but that was more because he was Abi's cousin. If I remember rightly Dexter spent a fair bit of time hitting on Lola which made her uncomfortable because she didn't feel that way about him. How long before he pounces on her in Newcastle?

Is creating a thread like this for each and every exit becoming a running joke on DS?

It was a very rushed exit and a bit meh, but what else could of happened?

I bet Danielle will get asked to join Hollyoaks.

Well i ain't part of it.

NO is the correct Answer. Lola is not a ''BIG'' character but most importantly her exit wasn't at the end. The next time the theme should be used is the exits to

It nearly made Jack Brannings look good!
Fair enough they are writing Lola out but no build up and no proper reason for her leaving, how is going to Newcastle with no family or money going to help her have a better life, it just didn't make any sense at all. She no way would have left Billy like that and now Kathy's one and only Grandaughter is now away from the square. Lola should have been killed off as it would have provided so much more drama for everyone else, Jay and Billy would have been devastated, Ben would of had to face up to fatherhood it could have all been so interesting. What did Danielle Harold do so wrong to be given this horrible treatment.
