BIB Where ? I saw someone speculating on here, and a few other people jumped on the bandwagon.....before you know it speculation becomes fact. Funny we didn't get these sort of rumours when Aleks and Charlie were axed, or all the other actor's he's given the chop to.

If he thinks the likes of Sonia, Paul and Kush are better than the three characters he's recently axed then I think he's wrong....very wrong.
the aleks actor said in interview that they had contract negotiations, couldn't agree so he decided to leave.. where is the speculation to come from that ?

charlie had been axed but he has been on screen consistantly and didn't disappear for three months or so?

I never said it was fact, I was just saying how do you know that wasn't the case? and there was a reason for her being axed rather than dtc only likes young men

Lola had so much potential and so much they could have done with her. Yet I'm sure cause she wasn't his creation he didn't want to keep her which is a dam shame. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets rid of jai soon.
It was one of the worst exits in EE history

It's an unpopular axing, DTC is full of himself you'll see when he axes more young quality and gets in actors like Kush for topless scenes.
Unpopular with who exactly? The millions who watch and presumably enjoy the show and never make comment or the dozen or so posters on this forum?

He shouldn't feel ashamed. All producers have their own vision of what they want their programme to be. DTC probably thought that Lola didn't fit in with what he wants to happen in the show. Characters with potential get axed, all the time. Maybe, DTC didn't see the potential, that the rest of you see.

I wonder how many of you will actually care about Lola, in a few months time.

Towards the end Lola became a human barbie doll. Her only defining storyline was her teenage pregnancy.

Ee seems to think it commonplace that people become great grandparents by the age of 50.

Zainab's exit was the worst.

Lola's was a B grade exit for a B grade (at best) character. I don't get the outrage.

Bright side - the endless merry go round of her job/training with Blades that went on forever before that with both Sadie and Tanya's salons is OVER.

It's a soap and in every soap, often characters are written out who we see potential in. It happens. Bigger characters than Lola have been written out of the show. It will survive.

I don't think anyone needs to "be ashamed" it's business.
I will say though, her exit was farcical

He should be more ashamed of allowing a rapist to still roam around the square. It might not be real but it doesn't paint Eastenders In a good light letting that happen.

I doubt DTC would have been as praising in his comments on her departure towards the actress if he'd suspended her....
