He said in court 'I didn't do it and at least one person in this room knows that' whilst looking at Ian, Phil, Ben, Abi and Stacey. He obviously doesn't think it was Stacey so that leaves the other four Max must somehow think one of them did it.

When did he accuse Abi? My memory is terrible sorry
![]() After Lucy's death he avoided Ian for a while (which we took as guilt and made him look shifty as a suspect) then in live week he said he believed Abi to be her killer because, as shown in the flashback episode, she returned home having "battered" Lucy.

How is Stacey going to convince anyone that Abi "battered" Lucy, particularly as Lucy's death happened in her absence? If she confronts Abi, the little bitch will deny it and get into a strop.

Max saw it on the files that Lauren put together after he tore them up. He thinks it's Jane like Lauren did.

Stacey taking up the role of Emma (RIP) and Lauren will be interesting though. She'll have to remember that if she buys Jane a hot drink in the park, she needs to keep the lid off, just like when Emma confronted her on NYD
Will also be interesting if she has any scenes with Cindy who might pluck up the courage to tell someone as she has shown some conscience in that family.

Maybe Max helped move the body. Hence blood on his Boots.

He didn't have any part in moving Lucy or he wouldn't have thought Abi was the killer. |

I think there is a lot more to this story because I don't think Jane is telling the whole truth so we will have to wait and let this play out this is the annoying thing about this story because it going on too long but then again that what makes a story. I think the truth will come out at christmas or when Bobby's older. If you can remember the flashback episode Max was coming towards the gate so I think he knows the truth or else he thinks Jane did it become maybe Jane didn't tell him the truth either like us viewers thought before the flashback episode aired who knows what Max knows. EastEnders is doing this storyline brilliantly because if you can remember also the Baby swap storyline the story writers wanted to keep that story on for years and people complaint about that storyline so now they have a storyline that they can keep going on for years to come.
