Why did Ian let Bobby get new game?
In tonight episode Ian and Jane let Bobby get a new game that have guns and shooting people because it sounds to me he is always playing them sort of games maybe when he killed Lucy he thought he was playing a game that what I pick up on tonight episode maybe that what telling parents who are viewers don't buy shooting games for young children.

Those kind of games are 18, would the game retailers sell that to either Cindy or 666 without any ID or an adult with them?

They are encouraging him to unleash his murderous streak on pixels instead of family members.

I think he knows that what they're doing is wrong and that Bobby isn't a normal child. I noticed his face as well when Bobby was talking about going to uni, it's as though Ian thought it would be wrong for Bobby to carry on with life in such a normal way after what he's done. He only let him have the game when he wanted him out of the house for a bit.
I think Kathy coming back will tip him over the edge and he'll have another breakdown and admit what happened - EE need to try and redeem Ian somehow and I bet that will be it. |

"Die die die" was just brilliant. I love the dark humour with Bobby.

It's just his and Jane's continued game of distracting Bobby with new toys / wrapping him into cotton wool so he doesn't hurt anyone else [I do not believe that Bobby doesn't know on some level that he killed Lucy].
The kid's 10. Not braindead. With all their question dodging tactics of late, there's no way Bobby won't find out that Max is being charged with Lucy's murder [from the paper, or even comments made at school]. Unless punished in due course, Bobby will kill again [eventually]. |

Yeah Bobby won't kill anyone else yet until he older because if you're child playing them sort of games would affect them.

It looks as though Ian and Jane are showing signs of strain already. They both looked as if they were ready to crack when holding hands at the table. I can't see them keeping the secret for long.

I think they are trying to treat him as a 'normal' child and 'normal' 12 year olds play computer games, often violent ones. Plus, they are trying to keep him distracted and out of the way when anything to do with Lucy comes up.
Deep down i think Ian at least knows they are doing the wrong things and is very uncomfortable with Bobby shouting out stuff like 'die, die, die' whilst sitting where he killed Lucy. |

Weasel and MyCindy only allow such things because they live in fear of their own lives, from the Scotch sociopath and Bob.
