Brilliant episode. This is why I don't spoil Big Brother. I had no clue Jason would go up and it was excellent TV for it.

This random draw for the veto is always so stupid as well, this time it didn't decide things but it can and it's very silly.

I haven't seen feeds but absolutely love the main episodes this year compared to the mundane predictability of the previous 2 seasons. Jason brought this on himself somewhat running around feeding info the minute he heard it, he isn't overly trustworthy and he'd be far better to get rid of than Becky to be honest.
It made sense for Vanessa to keep Austin and the other side, Meg/John/james/Jackie need to get their heads out of the sand, maybe they're doing loads on feeds but they seem to be coasting. The only part of this year that is annoying is people volunteering to go up and people throwing comps. That is annoying. |

Most of the season has seemed predictable to me, thus us being told this was the first blindside and something the house for a change didn't really agree on. And really it seemed more a change of plan than a planned blindside anyway.
Battle of the Block always tends to result in the HoHs working together most of the time as well, even promising each other that they wouldn't put each other up. That just further dilutes what tends to be a diluted game anyway. Vanessa is getting the 'game mastermind' edit right now, and I can do without the talking to the camera outside the DR as well. The twins have been by far my favourites, though no twin swap in the DR in this episode and that is normally a highlight of the show. |

Yep I like the twins, I wish they'd get rid of BOB, I feel the season could have been improved without it, the BOB has never worked like production hoped whereby the HOHs would be rivals, it has been the opposite effect all have essentially worked together.

I've managed to catch up on this season and I'm really enjoying it so far.
I actually find myself rooting for the dominating alliance and I'm glad Jason's snitching kind of backfired on him. Now the weaker players are being taught a lesson that they can't just sit back chilling and have to pull their socks up. I think it's great that the bigger players are all such nutty trainwrecks who wear their hearts on their sleeve. Vanessa is great viewing, I liked her and Austin immediately when they entered, but I prefer Austin as the wannabe strategist/villain instead of the lovesick fool. Typical that my sweepstake (and sort of namesake) is such a dull player. Meg can go next and I wouldn't at all be bothered. Not a fan of BOB (who is?), they really need to ditch that. Or perhaps have one of the HOHs be secret or something (kind of like the MVP twist from BB15), so that one of them could go off the rails and the HOHs not be so co-operative with eachother. |
