In this case there's no doubt but why can't people ask questions about an alleged victim

Funny that not many ask about an alleged shooter. This is one thing I noticed about certain hardcore doubting Thomases.

No doubt the unarmed victim was murdered by that cop wannabe. He stopped the driver and badgered him with questions before shooting him in the head.

MURDER plain and simple.

Why did he try to escape?

He was alone with two white cops who were armed who stopped him for no reasons, he tried to escape the inevitable outcome of many such encounters. They murdered him anyway

That sounds nonsensical. If you run you usually have something to hide, and over there it could be a deadly weapon or you're wanted on serious charges. You can't just pick and choose what laws to obey because you are black.

The policeman who defended himself from the attacker with the pole was a victim too but was still being seem as an aggressor and in the wrong on here.

I watched the video twice and couldn't be positive as to whether he was or wasn't dragged.

Innocent until proven guilty not Guilty until proven innocent is the way it generally works though.

I saw this thread earlier and waited to see the outcome - heartened somewhat to see its only 2 pages rather than dozens of pages of "it's the victims fault" but still can't believe that in a clear video of a murder (unprovoked) people will still try and find the victim (usually black) at fault.

His licence was suspended indefinitely so he was driving without a licence. His rap sheet is as long as your arm, so he was probably thinking he'd do some time.

The policeman even gives him an opportunity to admit that he's driving without a license but he keeps telling the officer to go and run his name/plates instead. He was probably already looking for an opportunity to do a runner.

Doesn't mean the officer had reason to shoot him in the circumstances as they played out though.

Was he wearing gang colours?

Absolutely not. That's why he's been charged with murder.

It's refreshing for once to see some clear belt cam evidence which nails the PO perpetrator. Long may it continue.

Only a few weeks ago a black woman gets shot dead by a police officer for committing the most heinous act of failing to indicate a lane change.

Worse than that, the officer had apparently sped after her and driven right up behind her so she changed lanes to let him pass. She wouldn't have even been changing lanes if it wasn't for the cop.

Except she wasn't shot dead, she supposedly hung herself in prison after she was wrongfully arrested. Which I seriously doubt.
