Why Did Billy have photos of Lucy? EE
Peter was living there, they were his pictures. Billy hid them because Peter kept looking at them which was upsetting Lola.
Why would a young man like Peter keep printed photos in a cheap paper folder? He'd have them stored on his phone. I don't buy that explanation at all.
I don't recall it ever being explained but in the flashback episode, Billy made an advance towards Lucy IIRC so it's reasonable to assume those photos hidden in his flat were for his "personal enjoyment".

We have to remember that Peter was repressed and completely impotent. I'm not surprised he had dodgy pictures of his sister.

That's not true. Billy was seen looking at them in the flashback episode.
It was implied during the flashback episode that Billy was infatuated with Lucy, hence him harbouring pictures of her.
That was just completely bizarre! :eek. Tbh I'm glad they don't seem to be revisiting it - it was obviously a red herring to put Billy in the frame. I do hope Denise having a fight with Lucy is brought up though. It won't be by Denise herself, but Bobby might as he witnessed it (I think??)

Billy lied to Pam that they were Peters when really they were his, this was made obvious to the viewers. He then quickly disposed of them. During the flashback epsisode it was hinted at that Billy had an obsession/fascination with Lucy in the build up to her death.
Since Lola's exit was rushed and quite random, I had a thought that maybe her character had to leave so that afterwards Billy would be revealed to having a crush on Lucy (hence the photos).
Maybe if Lola was still on the square she would be too disgusted by Billy and never forgive him especially considering Lola and Lucy have like a 3 year difference. Her exit sort of left them on good-ish terms instead of thinking badly about her 'pops'.

Wasn't there something about Billy stealing fish from the chippy and Lucy finding out then threatening to have him fired, maybe the pictures were showing Lucy taking cocaine and he was going to blackmail her, also wasn't Peter her dealer, there was a lot of red herring thrown round at the time that were left unresolved.
This is one part of the flashback episode that has not really been followed up yet. Much like Abi hitting Lucy and Denise having Lucy by the throat on the floor. I am sure we will know soon.

Yes that was Rather odd. Billy could have been sending the photos onto Kathy. Hopefully we Find out the reason behind the photos at some point .

I was thinking about this. Chelsea also knows that Denise saw Lucy that night, as they were on the phone when Lucy walked in, and Denise said Lucy's name whilst still on the phone.
